To whom it may concern,

The 178274 (midsize, ss/wg fluted bezed) does not come with rhodium dial nor black MOP (I like the black MOP diamond dial but they don't make it).

However, the ladies carry all.
Although, rhodium dial is hard to tell time at certain angle lighting, which you may regret later (I have read on the other forum, one of the lady has to pay $1200 + service labor, to replace the rhodium diamond dial to silver diamond dial after 2 months purchased it at brand new price) .

I have the silver and black diamond dial. Both are looking great ! could not adjust myself which one is more preferable.

Will attach some pictures for your reference when I have time this afternoon.

If your going with the mother of pearl, I prefer the dark because the white, you can't seem to notice its mother of pearl. The dark I've seen IRL and it changes color as you tilt the watch from purple to grey, etc. Here is some more references.

To me, I would rather to have the silver instead of the white MOP. They have not that much different in look, why pay more for something that untellable?

Black MOP diamond dial is way to go if you interested in ladies size.

Here's mine, midsize jubilee bracelet smooth bezel, pink face, roman numerals. I prefer the larger size with a smooth bezel and am very happy I went with the jubilee bracelet, I got it when the solid bracelets first came out and am sooooo happy I waited for the new bracelet. As for keeping time, it's perfect as long as you wear it or at least move it every day a bit. If you leave it sit for more than like 24 hours or so it will lose power, therefore lose time.....

Y'all have certainly been a wonderful resource. I am glad to have that info about the rhodium dial's readability. Ceya, do you know how I might find that forum? Lola, your collection is gorgeous! And, Ceya, I look forward to seeing yours. And, Boku, thanks for the pics you continue to provide. Do y'all think I will be happy with the ladies size jubilee, silver diamond dial style? That's what I am leaning toward at this time. Again, I can't thank y'all enough for the info. Please feel free to add any additional info you think I should consider.

I have the ladies jubilee bracelet with fluted bezel with white mop diamond dial and I absolutely love it. I had asked the same question as to whether the mop dial is worth the extra money. I really love it so I decided it was worth paying more for it because I like it the best of all of the dials. I don't think it looks just like the white dial since it has texture to it while the white dial is "flat" and it picks up different colors in different lightings and has the most gorgeous shimmer and sparkle to it! I bought my Rolex in Oct and posted a pic, I will look for it and post in here.

Ceya - Thet absolutely do the mid-size jubilee, fluted in rhodium as mine is on order and will arrive in 3 weeks #178274. However it is called rhodium max. I also went to see if JE caldwell had it in stock last night to see in person - even though I ordered it elsewhere - and they also said it could be ordered and that it was an uncommon combination. I kind of liked that cause I want to be a little different. We are not positive what the "max" means next to the word rhodium but both stores believe it has to do with the size of the Roman numerals. Perhaps they are a little bigger to show up more. I will let you know if the watch doesn't come in as described but both stores said they could get it!

Yes, indeed they make rhodium roman dial but not diamond though.
Although, rhodium diamond dial is hard to tell time, so the rhodium roman is even more difficulty to read.

Below is list of dials for Rolex models:

No, I don't think you can order if the dial is unavailable for that model.

To CEYA - Your watches are tdf! Are they both mid-size? I was confused earlier cause I forgot you were talking about diamonds on rhodium and I was talking about Roman numerals. What do you do with one of your Rolexes when you are wearing the other so it doesn't lose time? Do you use a winder? Thanks so much for all your expertise and pictures.

I've been trying to decide on a watch for weeks and I'm just getting more and more confused. I had narrowed it down to either the mid-size jubilee, fluted bezel, silver dial with diamond markers vs. the same with mother of pearl. Now, today, I fell in love with the Patek Philippe twenty-4 in stainless steel, and I feel like I'm back at square one. Dh said I can't get both! Looking at these pics, though, I do love the Rolex. Sigh.

Yes. Both are in mid-size. I have a winder that keeps the time without manually winding when needed.
