I went for the black Sonia with non-contrast stitching. Have been tempted by the black a number of times but was always put off by the white stitching. Didn't even know this existed.

And now that I'm working on site three days a week and from home only two days...

I just asked oana about general availability of bags, as it's impossible to tell if something is in stock or not, and she said that (and i quote) "Yes, everything is made to order ."

Well they will soon have an Atlantic Tharpe in stock, albeit with a broken zipper slider.

Final answer from HH (which I had to go ask for, again, on the website, as no one wrote me back by Friday as promised - well, no one wrote me back, period, nor an apology for forgetting to get back to me) -- gift cards cards and store credits CANNOT be combined with promotional codes. They are, according to HH, the same as promotional codes.

so i will make one final massive purchase at some point with my "promotional" gift card and that's it.

4.5 years of purchases later, i am done with HH.

This is crazy.

I'm with this board as long as it's around, and I'll love my HH bags as long as they have life in them. New HH is dead to me (so dramatic hahah). Really, after the Rising fiasco that was it.

i forgot! one last bit of info from HH CS. if you have multiple gift cards you cannot use more than one in a single transaction. i know other retailers do this due to website limitations or something (e.g. sephora) but HH won't combine them, nor did she offer to take the order over the phone or something instead. so i'm a bit short of a havana on any single gift card (well, the more expensive havana, that is).

I could see if they were promotional "gift cards" like Groupons, maybe imposing limits*, but it is just beyond ridiculous with normal GCs and store credits. I am pretty outraged, probably more than I should be. I've been more involved with CS than usual at work, so maybe I'm more sensitive than normal right now, but geez, I still think is such a dumb call on their part.

*assumes limits are expressed at time of purchase

so i said:
how long does it take on average to receive an order after placing it?

Oana
3-4 weeks for the bag to be made and an additional 5 bsiness days for delivery

which is fine, except.. weren't people told certain things were in stock? and is this info anywhere on the product pages?
WTF. This would explain why I haven't received a response to my email I sent today asking when they were shipping my nackie, since their first and third responses to me said it was in stock and would ship this week. The main reason I believed them when they said the nackie was in stock was because I remember in that brief moment a couple months ago when it seemed like HH was looking up and people were actually receiving their bags/accessories and relatively happy about the product--for that brief period, the corralline nackie specifically was listed as "in-stock" on their website, along with a few others, while the majority of bags still had pre-order dates listed. I think this was around the time that one of the HHotties received her nackies, so I assumed they made more than one or maybe someone had cancelled an order.

If I don't get a positive response email or shipping confirmation by the middle of next week, I am asking for a refund. Ugh.

crossing my fingers that they had a nackie in stock for some reason... and that you hear from them soon.

pallenberg...pallenberg...

Actually - speaking of saffron - I have yet to use my saffron cannes tote...I keep getting it out and thinking about it but man that is a mother of a bag. I remember that you said it could carry a toddler. What do you actually use yours for?

It's definitely not a run to the store kinda bag, unless you're bringing home the groceries in it lol. I've mainly used it at work, hauling student portfolios and textbooks around, but have also used it as a catch all for a picnic/hiking day...
