I got a Chalk Pallenberg a long time ago for a great price. It is sooo soft.(like a baby's butt!!:p) Can't decide if I want to use it as is; afraid it will get so dirty, or get it dyed.

Any thoughts???

2 - many - I say use it up!!!! Life is too short we need to enjoy this stuff.

Jenni - you are some kind of strong if you can carry the cannes tote for picnic - hiking. I practically need a fork lift to get it up on my shoulder when it's empty!

If the rain stops I'll carry it to work next week.

Hard typing w one left hand finger lol. Woke up smelling smoke... Trying to get the news. I70 is still closed east of town (since 6:30 last night). Poor Wrigley is freaked at the smoke andv s on my neck :p Ada is in the basement

So, I went back through most of my HH purchases over the years, and I could not help but notice how much LESS (significantly less) I have purchased from them since that A/W debacle that started it all with the grape shine forward items... I remember waiting MONTHS and MONTHS (hell, almost a year) for some items. Looking back on it now, I cannot believe I ever waited that long for those things. I was hopeful to see a major turnaround, but I can't help but wonder what the HHell is going on again at HH?! I love the products so much, and I certainly do not want to see HH crash and burn for good, but I am truly puzzled with this whole gift card fiasco. I too read the details on the site, and there is nothing about not being able to use them like cash? As long as the giftcards that Hokka is trying to use are straight up giftcards, not groupons, not promo buy $ get $ cards from HH, I am speechless. In fact, Hokka (if you are reading this and your GC's are indeed pure GC's), I might even think about legal action.

The only items I have really purchased from HH as of late (minus my new pilots/pomps), have been oldies (but OMG goodies) from HHotties. It makes me sad to see everything going south again when I peek into my closet that is almost ENTIRELY HH. :(

I am pretty tempted by the Hitchcock dress on the bay but it is small. Anyone know how it fits? I tend to be a small/medium in modern sizes but my only HH item of clothing (Libra dress) is pretty snug and it is a medium.

I have the large feather print dress, which I believe is the same dress in a different print. I'd say the fit runs a little small. There's some give because it's a wrap dress, but it's designed for the less curvy (esp. up top) gal.

ETA: Busty gals can wear a camisole underneath, which is what I do, but it does make it a little fussier to throw the outfit together (I usually wear dresses because they are so easy ... nothing to coordinate).

That is ridiculous! A GC or store credit (especially!) is like cash! It's not a freaking promotional code!

Well, at least now they're being a little more honest. I was told 2 WEEKS. It was closer to 5 weeks. And yes, I was told a bag was in stock and it was not.

I had a chalk Lorca at one point. It was soooo soft. I carried it a lot and never had a problem with it getting dirty. I was surprised, but it seems to be quite durable.

Oh geez. I know. :nogood: I fell for their tricks because I wanted that nackie so badly. I refuse to wait 5 weeks though, because I am not paying for a bag that doesn't exist yet (cc statement will come due in a couple of weeks) and then waiting on a refund from HH or filing a chargeback after I have already paid. They get until the end of next week (giving them a few extra days because of 4th of July holiday, which I'm sure they would use as an excuse anyway for any delays) before I am asking for my money back.
I am still crossing my fingers that they will surprise all of us and come through, but I doubt it.

Mine was charged immediately, which is why I am so nervous about this order. :tdown:

ETA: Just checked my accounts again, and it looks like the charge has mysteriously disappeared. Now it isn't even showing as a pending charge. Hmm.

Eek, I received a mysterious fedex shipping email with tracking number, but it doesn't say who the shipper is--could this be HH creating a shipping order for my nackie?? Fingers crossed.
