I'm wondering if this is how they're planning to sell from now on?

Hmmmm ... Interesting and a little mysterious. How did you find that, moth?
Bri, if you click on the NOW link, you can deduce a little about it based on the registration form. What little I know is that in general, affiliates promote products -- often they're bloggers who write glowing reviews and post photos, though sometimes it's a lot more subtle than that -- and in exchange they receive a kickback. I have a couple friends who do this with a handful of small makers of photography gear and software. In those cases, the affiliate offers a discount -- "Get 10 percent off with this special code!" The code is then used by the vendor to trace where the buyer read about the item. When a certain dollar volume of purchases using the affiliate's code racks up, the affiliate gets a commission or a free product, whatever, depending on the program terms. My photography friends really believe in and use the products they pimp, but personally, I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it. And I doubt HH would come here looking to recruit affiliates.
