I took the Eurostar from Paris to London a few years ago. It was pretty easy, except I lost my confirmation number and we ended up missing our train and had to catch the next one. I still need to buy the tickets. I slacked on it for a week. I switched up our route and we're going through Italy instead of Switzerland and going to stay on Lake Como instead of Lake Geneva.
I've been kind of not excited about this trip, but having stuff booked has gotten me looking forward to it. Tonight I bought a bunch of cotton dresses from Old Navy for the trip. Hopefully some will work out. Ordering online from them seems to be so hit and miss, but they are having 30% off and I had $20 in rewards that were expiring tomorrow. Knit dresses seem so easy for vacation.
Today was Violette's first birthday. I can't believe how big she is. I gave the girls chicken with their dog food as a special birthday dinner. But I guess Vi ate some dates from the neighbor's palm today so as soon as she ate she puked everywhere. While she was busy with that, Poppy ate both bowls of food. Poor Vi, she was so pouty. I had training today and yesterday. It was horrible waking up so early, but pretty nice getting home by 5:30. I took the girls for a long walk both evenings. I'm going to try to get home earlier than normal tomorrow so we can go on another walk.

monkeytail - Walking the girls sounds nice and possible relaxing. How'd your ON dresses work out? I kept 1 of 6. LOL. I didn't realize that the tshirt dresses are not a straight or a line cut (they bulge out for hips).
We're lounging and waiting on a call from the vets office today. Someone is peeing on the floor so we had to go for a checkup and urinalysis. Ash might have the beginnings of FUS or crystals.

Mine haven't all arrived yet, so I haven't checked it out. I don't even know what all I ordered anymore, but it was $500-600, so it was a lot of things. I'm expecting the majority will go back.
I hope Ash's tests came back with happy news. The maniacs almost had an emergency vet visit yesterday. Poppy was at the groomers and they called me saying she had a seizure. After talking to them, it sounds like she was just freaked out by the hair dryer and pooped all over the place. She's been kind of weird the last few days, though, so I'm going to keep an eye on her. I'm thinking about taking her in and seeing about some doggy prozac or something, but I don't want to be one of those people.

Hey HHotties: I almost never post in this thread, but just wanted to share a little tale with you: After waiting a month for my key fob return to be credited to my account & then sending 2 emails to CS this past week to no avail, I finally took to their Facebook pg. to ask about it. I felt a little disloyal to them(HH) for airing my grievance in public, but I was also out of patience & any other options. Well, 30 minutes later I received a phonecall from none other than
.Ms Toni Hacker!! 
Can you say- Star Struck?? She was calling to personally address my missing ($30)credit! I was a little embarrassed actually:shame: After my shock & awe wore off we had a very nice 5 minute conversation
I'll never wash my phone again!! -Lol. But seriously, I'm really impressed that she took the time to follow up with me directly. She also let me know that they're still working out kinks with e-mail servers & other stuff I don't really understand, doh'. Also- as I was on the line with her I checked my bank account & miraculously the credit was there, which it hadn't been earlier in the a.m.! Some sort of HH magic? Idk- but Toni was so genuine & cool that I'm almost glad I had the CS issue

MT - hope Poppy is ok. I could see how the dryers might freak her out. The test on the kitties showed nothing except that they have incredibly similar urine. We just caved and gave them another litter box.

I'm working out about the same. I realized that they left 7 items out of my shipment and had to call to get the sent, so I'm waiting for that order right now. So far though, I think I'm mainly keeping tanks and henley tees.
This is going to be joining me on my trip. I think it is going to be perfect.
I have been so busy at work, I hope it dies down before I leave for vacation. If not, I might have to stay in Europe to avoid the mess I'll be coming back to.
My new couches arrived last weekend. So far they seem to be breaking in great. The leather is so scrumptious and soft, but seems to be pretty impervious to scratches from my beastly mutts.
I'm going to my mom's this weekend for a late Mother's Day. I think we might have too many projects lined up. We're planning on painting my entertainment center doors, sewing dog beds, sewing doll clothes for the kids, and she wants me to do some electrical work. We also have to take my niece dress shopping because she's graduating elementary school
Anyone else have anything planned for the long weekend?

We got nothing done aside from graduation dress shopping. We had a nice time playing outside with the dogs though. Poppy will fetch until my arm's ready to fall off and the other dogs chased her while she was fetching.
