Thanks for the answers for the babysitting question! Gonna have to take the plunge sooner or later...

Mish: Chloe is crazy adorable!!! What a view your parents have; and how lovely at Christmas!

Cho; love that picture! They say babies know the sound of your pets (barking, etc.) much like they know the sound of their mother's voice. And your baby will certainly smell familiar to your fur babies. :smile1:

I finished one of the gloves for my niece. Here it is next to my dirty, dirty blackberry for size comparison. The green stripe goes up on her fingers. There's a thumb hole in the upper purple stripe. I need to sew in the ends and block it so it looks more even. It is bright and rainbowey and she's 8, I think she'll like it. She loves having stuff knit for her. I'll have enough yarn left over for a scarf, she has always loved a scarf. She has all kinds of scarves, she likes to pick out yarn and beg for me or my mom to make her a scarf out of it. She might be old enough to learn to make her own now.

Sally, I don't think an SUV will mean more presents, there'd have to be money for that :D It would just mean that I don't have to cram everything in a sedan or coupe. I might as well make the best of having a rental. I have a generous rental allowance because I upgraded when figuring out my policy a few months ago. Unfortunately I also upped my deductible :shrugs:

Yay mt! Good news about your car not being totaled! How funny the doctor thinks perhaps the accident helped your shoulder, more good news. If you do get an SUV see if you can get a cargo cover so you can conceal the packages in the cargo area or at least a dark blanket to toss over them at this time of year.

argh. killer sinus headache and i'm all out of sudafed. my hidden stashes are out. i'm stuck on campus till 3. you'd think, on a college campus, that i could just walk through the union with a sign reading "speed? amphetamines? sudafed? a little help here". but there's the whole tenure thing to consider.

i pity any student who comes to my office hour.
and i look like marty feldman, bulging eyes and all :weird:

Nikki - I dream of having a house like this one sometime too. I definitely will need to work a little harder/smarter though LOL.

Sally - LOL, the couch is definitely cushy. It doesn't have a big dent in it where my big ole butt sat during my pregnancy and beyond.
The view is really awesome. The sunset is beautiful EVERY day.

Lulu - Thank you! The Tennessee Aquarium is a bit of a tradition for us. We go nearly every visit and even splurge for the picture they take of you when you come in the door. I wasn't sure how much Chlöe would enjoy it at only 4 months old, but didn't want to deprive her of the experience just in case she'd like it. Which she did!

Cho - Thank you! And look how awesome your pic is! I love your baby belly and am so excited that you can feel the mini cho moving around now! Chlöe says to give her BFF a squeeze LOL.

Jsenning! - Thank you and OMG I'm going to be in Atlanta for 45 minutes tomorrow haha. I fly there from Chattanooga then from ATL to Los Angeles then on to Reno. Long day. The TN Aquarium really is a great one. And definitely one of the best. And is it bad for me to add that they have some very nice looking employees LOL. Cute and nice guys haha. Good luck with the resume!!!

Jennirane! - THank you!!!!! ANd I hope you feel better!

Enga - Thnank you! How are you feeling? I was here for 2 weeks, but wont be here for Christmas. We'll be home. I got my mom a butter Welles for Christmas sort of.... I got it just to get it, and she is insisting it's for the holidays... Her Bday is Jan 7th, so I might shoudl have it be one of her gifts, but I had wanted it to be a JUST Because gift since she deserves one for looking after us the last two weeks. I'm so glad your MIL is coming! That's gonna be awesome!! Have fun!

Kate - Thank you! And regarding the view and getting things done, it's really funny and true. Some days not much gets done. Other days my mom puts up a 12 foot tree.... It's like Willy Wonkaville.

Luciana! - Thank you! I'm glad your mom will be there soon! And yes computers are a pain!! I work with them and sometimes wish i didnt!

Carlie - Thank you! Stay positive! Sounds like the ipad has helped lots of people!

Bri, Clutched - Thank you! (Sorry to lump you two together, baby is starting to squirm!)

MT - I am SO glad your car isn't totaled! Too funny about slumming it in the benz. Funny especially because I've been living it up driving my mom and dad's His/Hers Benzes around LOL. If it helps any, while I do prefer my moms sedan, my Dad's SUV one is really really nice and roomy and comfy. My moms is just a bit sportier. I'm glad your aches and pains are going away. That is crazy that the accident jolted things back into place! WILD!

I love the gloves for your niece! That's awesome! I'm sure she'll love it. My niece is 7 and definitely LOVES rainbows.

Jennirane! - I know I already said it, but I hope you feel better. Sinus headaches are NO fun. Ick!

Holy Freaking Frick. I am in moving panic mode. I am tired, actually EXHAUSTED and it seems that I will never ever ever be done. I totally am farked. I'm stuck in a rut!! Irod and I are going nuts worrying about the craziness coming our way. I was at work all day and he was at the new house and he says they are NOT ready for us to move in yet! Aaaaacccckkkkkk!!!!!!
