I just peeked over there too. On the order page for the satchel, there isn't even an option for a tassle, but there is the option for other bags. I wonder if the satchel style isn't meant for a tassle? Weird.

I bit the bullet and ordered one in luggage. I know you gals told me that with my Roxanne and the weaved bag I have from Nordie's is enough from that color family...I couldn't help it! :shame::shame::wacko::p:nuts::laugh::love:

Thanks for clearing up the tassle issue everyone! Now that everyone is getting a luggage, I may want one in luggage too! I was going to get that color but I am so afraid you can see scratches easily or marks! Is that the case with those who got luggage? That is the only reason why I got black! If those who got luggage and haven't noticed scratches on your luggage please tell me! I may have them switch it to luggage instead.:suspiciou I am kinda jealous of the softer leather too.

Did you get yours at Blondette.com? I emailed her on Friday, she said she was due to get more luggage in on the 15th.

Here are pictures of the Mercer satchel in Luggage. I took the pics of the bag outside to try to get the color truer in the photos. The third pic is the bag on me. Again, our digicam takes really lousy flash pictures, so sorry for the quality.

The leather on the luggage definitely has a worn/distressed look, so if you're looking for picture-perfect leather, you might have a problem with this color.

My luggage definitely has some "variations" in the leather (not scratches exactly, just distressing), but I'd imagine this leather will probably show scratches, being as soft as it is. But to me, that's part of the "look" of the bag.

Can you define the worn/distressed look?

On the Kooba Sienna in Desert that I just sent back, it actually looked like someone with greasy fingers had put their hands on the bag. In other spots, on a light tan leather bag, there were dark brown spots...some looked like it was sprayed on. I ordered two from Neiman's, and they both looked like this. They still had the paper on the hardware, etc., so that's just the way they made it.

Is it like that?

The Moni Moni that I bought and returned (I seem to do that a lot :shame: ) was distressed/worn, but in a nicer way. The only problem with that bag was the seams had no color at all. I liked the way this leather was distressed.

Hmm...I am torn. I do like the distressed look so I can wear it with casual clothes. I don't know what to do but I don't want it to get scratched up as I use it though. Keep my black or get the luggage?

Gorgeous bag, pseub. It looks great on you! Congrats. It's bigger than I thought it would be. Looks really good! I like the two outter pockets and the zip in the middle. Looks like you could stuff a lot of stuff in there.

I live in Seattle, WA and there are no stores selling this bag!! Could someone tell me if the middle compartment is large enough to put most of your stuff in there. I LOVE THIS BAG!!! But, most of the three compartment bags have 3 medium size compartments and my stuff always is crowded. If you have a picture of the inside, I WOULD LOVE THAT!!!!:huh:
