pseub, so is the leather on the chalk and black satchel the same? (crinkly and smooth, not velvety and squishy like the luggage?)

Yes, it's much closer to the leather on the black than the luggage. The texture is the same, it's just not as shiny as the black.

Rats! I took pictures after I got home from work. I've been trying to post them, but they're too big. I should warn you that not only am I new to this site, I'm also a digital camera novice. My pictures are 2.5 MB each. If anyone has suggestions for shrinking these, I would appreciate it. In the meantime, I saved them to my Ofoto album. PM me, and I'll send the link.

I'll do my best to describe how it looks like on. Because it's a little wide (15"), it tends to slouch a little towards the top center. I hope that makes sense. If you like a very structured bag, you may not love this one.

Finally, the Hayden Harnett site has a good picture of what this bag looks like on if you click on it in Mulberry or Moss.
