Yup! I do agree, I always wonder their pricing for Bal. As I compare them the Bal official site. Many time I want to order but I still wonder.. Sometimes their current Bal sale is current Bal colors featured on the original site and it's even cheaper than US pricing. I wonder..

You're right, I once purchased a bal item listed as chevre but was actually lambskin so I returned it. So far, I've been disappointed that all the items I chose to buy comes WITHOUT the year card (too often to be coincidental). Mostly ended in returns.

I have bought quite a number of items from Reebonz over the past few years and have been satisfied so far. However, the rudest shock came with my last purchase of a Balenciaga Anthracite Work bag. During the event, it was stated as Giant 21 Rose Gold Hardware, which got me excited and jumped on the purchase since Giant 21 RG HW has been discontinued and it is so difficult to buy off retail plus it was Anthracite colour!

Anyway, the biggest shock came when I received the bag. It was actually a Giant 12 RG HW instead, where I even found a sticker in the bag stating so. Of course, I filed in a Return request immediately and even emailed their Concierge team separately with all the photos. It took them very long to get back where they still claimed that their item code is correct and asked me to provide more codes on the leather tag, which I did. And I never hear from them for many days until I have to call them to hear the same old insistence and that she will check with her Merchandising team and reply within the day.

Of course, nothing was heard and I have to resort to PM-ing them on their FB page, which the Concierge lady got back again asking me for more evidence (isn't the sticker found obvious enough and with all the pics provided?) and she still sent me 2 comparison pics of Giant 21 vs Giant 12. This was just a further affirmation that the bag I received was Giant 12 instead. Luckily, there was an event running then where they were selling the same bag as mine (still listed as Giant 21 RG HW), which I just attached the pic and told her to cross-check as it was obvious that they were mis-representing.

Anyway, she finally arrange for a pick-up of the bag for returns inspection and I am just waiting for my fate now! I seriously want a full refund and none of their credits...

hi blurrie,

I fully emphatise with you. Your ordeal above reminded me of my (more than once) experience with the store, which glaringly highlighted their lack of knowledge with bal. In one of the episodes, like you, I was also asked to provide proof with lots of run around and time wasted that ultimately led to revealing gaps in their product knowledge. I have since shied away.

This is EXACTLY why I was leery of purchasing on Reebonz lately. My first purchase was for a Miu Miu wallet - no hitches.

But recently, I was looking at the Balenciaga section and they had mis-labelled the Cassis Work as the Rose Thulian, and vice versa. I checked with the concierge, saying it just didn't look right. Concierge told me the labelling was correct. But I just didn't believe it and held off from buying...

Two days later, and the labelling was corrected. It turned out that I was right.

What would I have gotten if I had purchased?? Hmm.

Alright, verdict is out! They called to say they brought the back down to Bal boutique and confirmed that it is Giant 12 hardware instead of Giant 21! So they have changed the labelling on their current events as well as internal coding...I still find it so hard to believe!
Anyway, asked if I wanted to exchange for another Balenciaga item since they don't have any Giant 21 RG HW bag (obviously!). I told them directly I wanted a full cash refund as I dont want to go through any trauma with them again!

And leigresse - Yes, I saw that mistake on the labelling of Rose Thulian and Cassis too. Am seriously not impressed with them!

reading this thread made me more worried with Reebonz now... i ordered my first Bal bag PT in Gris Tarmac a week ago.. first problem.. shipping usually takes 3-5 days now i think they change there policy to 21 days but in there website it says 3-5 working days... emailed them and no reply yet as to what is happening in my account status says it is already SHIPPED .. next problem would me the bag.. i know nothing about BAL bag and there is no boutique here in Australia... i am worried now if i am going to get the bag that i really want...

I purchased from Reebonz two weeks ago (my black miniGiant city) and I posted it on the Authentication thread, I got two other Bal bags at home , one was purchased from the US store (got charged 15% tax) the other one was from Aloha Rag when they were still selling Bal bags. Since I am in NZ, Reebonz does seem to be the best option to buy from because they include shipping and taxes. I was a bit worried b4 but I am pretty sure the bag I got is authentic after comparing them to my other bals, the bag did arrive within 5 working days and by FedEx which is quite impressive ! I guess when you are buying something online, there's always the risk of not getting what you paid for :hrmm:
btw, I think Reebonz are holding real sale events in Melbourne Australia ? lucky to be living in Australia :P

Good luck with your refund! Let us know how it goes... I'm glad that at the least, they went to the Bal boutique and got it SORTED. Sheesh. It's like, get the details right, peeps...

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM REEBONZ.
I just had an ultra bad experience with them.
I ordered an item with the description as 'Chloe Marcie Shoulder Bag with Strap', with the picture showing a Tan colour Chloe Marcie Animation Shoulder Bag of Medium Size (Double-Handle).
It took them 3 days to deliver the item to me - which I was really looking forward to. Upon opening the package, I have received a Chloe Marcie HOBO in Tan colour (Double-Handle). Which is wrong.
I wrote to them with a picture of the Marcie HOBO (wrong item that they have delivered to me) attached to my email, complaining about the matter and demanding the correct item being sent back to me. And guess what happened?
First of all, after waiting for half a day, they did not bother to even call me back. Second of all, when I phoned them quoting this matter, the first thing they did was not the attend to the situation, but to defend ('Technically we have 24 hours to reply to customer's queries - it's in our website').
Nevermind, I proceed to explain the situation to them with regards to the matter. They said they need time to INVESTIGATE into the matter as the SKU number (i.e. product number) that I have quoted is actually a Marcie HOBO, meaning that the item that they have sent me is CORRECT (??). As Reebonz's email purchase invoice and website purchase record does not include a photograph of the item you have purchased, this may be an on-going arguement as I did not take a screenshot of the item I have purchased (but who does that)?
My fellow internet shoppers - let me ask you a question. Do you make a screen shot of all items that you are intending to purchase just in case the retailer screw up the product photo and number, so that you can proof to them what you were intended to purchase? What kind of logic is this?
They call themselves a highend, international retailer. But hang on, net-a-porter, shopbop and mytheresa would never, ever have made a STUPID mistake like this one. Plus if you complain to them, they fix things for you. They will not tell you 'technically they have 3 days to get back to you' of the likes.
Internet shopping is partially about TRUST. These bunch of amateurs have totally broken my trust towards them (I have previously purchased a Celine Luggage Shoulder from them). So buy at your own risk.
Besides, if you are looking for bangs for your bucks, please note that Reebonz is definately NOT the cheapest. As the Euro is low at the moment, all the European sites (mytheresa, luisaviaroma, farfetch) are DEFINATELY cheaper than Reebonz, even including shipping.

How is it?? All good?

Oh heck, I just saw your reveal on your Gris Tarmac in the forum! Congrats, it looks LOVELY. Good luck finding a blue shade!

Thanks @letigresse ..
The bag looks fine ( i hope ) .. I'll be honest i don't know anything about bbag ... this is my first and there's no one i can ask and compare with .. And there is no boutique here in oz .. am just praying everything i buy online will all be ok

You know what cbk021726, I'm new to Bbags too but honestly, I cannot see anything wrong with that gorgeous new bag of yours. The leather looks great, color is amazeballs!

I know how you feel about comparisons. I did look around quite a bit before getting my first Bbags (online too) so I could look at size, etc. But it looks like you got a good experience out of Reebonz and the most important thing is... ENJOY THAT BAG! :yahoo:

I have nothing but positive experiences with Reebonz :) All bal bags and ysl chyc cabas I bought were perfectly divine! Having said that, I went to Reebonz offline sale event recently and I saw a few bal bags - blue indigo and gris poivre weekenders - whose leather quality are pretty crap i.e. unwrinkly, unveiny and almost plasticky smooth sheen. Id have freaked out if I received those bags lols but then again, thats the risk of online shopping! Which is why I am counting my blessings to receive the divine batches so far :)

I've always had good experiences with Reebonz. I think I've bought about 5 or so Bals from them and have never had a problem (just bought a rose thulian twiggy from them recently). I used to buy from Cultstatus in Perth but the price difference is a lot bigger than it used to be and Reebonz is easy.

My only complaint is that Reebonz sales are about 70% Bal these days! Wish they had more brand variety.
