Wow, how rude of the SAs to say anything of the kind in front of you! and worse, to discuss your shopping (being in the store the day prior) with another customer...what?! I'd be annoyed and on the phone with Coach in a second!
I know. I was appalled by all of this unprofessional diva attitude they possess.
The only and only reason keeping me from not phoning Coach is me never being able to shop there again if I do. They seem to love tattling

Well, I bought 5 today and I am going back tomorrow with my mom, who is making a surprise visit and wants to buy some bags too! I cannot wait to hear what the staff has to say about seeing me 2 days in a row!

So yesterday I returned an online factory purchase (hardware still wrapped, tags on, with receipt) because I just really didn't love it when I saw it irl. I haven't returned anything in.....I don't even know how many years. Since before 2010 for sure (probably before 2008...it's hard to recall) and the sa called someone before doing the return...I don't mean she called a manager, she called someone on the phone and then she talked so quietly that even though I was standing right in front of her, I couldn't even hear what she was saying. It made me feel so paranoid! Like I was being considered suspicious or something. Is this normal and I'm just way too sensitive from reading about bans?

I really don't think I fit the criteria of a reseller or something, but you never know!

She prob hadn't done an online sale return before. But I'm with you I'd have been paranoid and would have asked her.

I once returned a delete from the online sale at my outlet. The SA had to call corporate and ask how much my order cost because they didn't print the price on my invoice. Maybe the SA had to do something like that and she didn't want you to think she was trying to insult you or something.

I assume if you pay with cash they still enforce the number you can purchase at checkout, but seems to me it would be impossible to track, correct? Unless they refuse to let you purchase without inputting your information which would seem a bit ridiculous since cash is the only somewhat anonymous (other than video surveillance) of doing monetary transactions these days. Has anyone tried this? DH suggested we try this at a Coach store I don't frequent just to see if they'll let me purchase without giving personal info.

But I'll first have to check over his head for the black Coach helicopters that might be flying overhead...

I just went to the outlet last week, and I paid cash for a bag. They asked for my email, but that was all, I think. I'll check my receipt. Ok, receipt has my name on it, so when they took my email, it came up with my info. But I wonder what would have happened if I gave an email they didn't have.

If I pay cash they ask for my name and look for me in the system.

Can coach.com ban people from shopping on their website? I don't return much but did make a store return yesterday. Today I tried to check-out twice on 2 different computers, and it wouldn't take me to the check-out screen. It kept returning to the home screen. Now I am getting paranoid!
