It's only worth it if you love the item and really want it for your collection. Don't buy something that's not on your wish list just because they happen to have one.

I'm wondering when I can even order a hammered YG 5 motif bracelet. I called this week and was unable to order/put a deposit or even pay in full. Hopefully they are trying to catch up with the holiday orders, they said someone could contact me when I was able to place an order but no idea of any time frame.

I was recently shown a hammered YG vintage Alhambra pendant. Did not ask about any other hammered pieces as that was the one I wanted to see.
The answers on this can vary depending on who you ask. I was able to put a deposit down on one today but was told it would likely be a 4-6 month wait as a guess.
Hello I wonder how you get offered theses MTO pieces. Is there a spending line or an SA relationship ? Mine let me understand that MTO pieces have a shorter waiting time … but you have a 30% premium tax
Yes, there is a spending requirement, it used to be $85k in the USA, I am not sure if it has changed. If your SA said you can order MTO, you should be all set. Yes, there is an extra fee for MTO, but the prices are standardized so your SA will tell you the price and you will pay it before they create it for you.

They said I could cancel or exchange but I want the bracelet so I guess I'll hang in there a few more months.
The average wait time for this one over the past year has been about six months, so you should expect yours sometime mid to late Spring.
I ended up cancelling my order after 6 months and getting something else! I was just sick of not having any answer as to when it might arrive, yet saw some others getting theirs within a couple of months!
So you took a store credit? I ordered mine in July and still have nothing. I wish I could just cancel and get a refund.
They gave me a refund! It’s refund not store credit until the order is picked up.
