I think pink- ^- that would be beautiful! You can also do it in pink sapphires- just a thought.

pink sapphires would be gorgeous, I would have to do a heat treated sapphire in order to get the size i want. i tend to like my gemstones around 4 carats to get a nice POP of colour 
I'm afraid the cost of a halo of pink diamonds/sapphires > the cost of center morganite stone!! In the case of a real halo look ring, the band should be paved with the same stones as well?
Well, I must look for a center stone first. A treated sapphire will be a good option. You can choose the colour and the size. I thought a pink ring is not quite me, but I would like to have one! )i don't have my ring yet but after searching and deciding i'd like to offer this piece of advice--def try the ring on.
what the ring looks like on display and on your hand can be totally different.
for example, i love the way asscher looks but it looks weird on my hand. yet cushion is my second choice but in a halo setting looks really delicate and matches my hand/finger really well.

Thank you for your precious advice. Yes, when a ring is not a simple solitaire, it is very important to try it on. I love fancy shape diamonds, but they didn't really look good on my finger. I was on the verge of purchasing a 3 stone diamond ring, but again, it did not look so good....
When a ring is elaborate one, it will be more important to try it on. For this very reason, I love/stick to purchasing a finished product, especially when it comes to an expensive jewelry. I view/wear/touch it as much as I want! I won't regret!
My engagement ring is currently being made by Leon Mege (should be done by end of July) and will look like the attached photo. I'm hoping it's not too "blingy" for everyday wear.
To quote my daughter (who only turned 10 yesterday) "There is no such thing, as too much bling!"...LOL

I just got mine. It is really small compared to everyone else's. DH thinks I am nuts for wanting something bigger, but he doesn't spend as much time drooling over things on TPF like I do LOL. It is 1.01ct on the center and 1.0ct halo (2ctw)

Yup, it's a RB!! The ring is a little big and keeps spinning, so I need to have it sized, and my fiance knows that I love eternity bands, but when having the ring made, somehow got talked out of getting the diamonds all the way around the band. Needless to say, instead of having the ring sized, we are having the shank made again in an eternity band, as well as getting the wedding band to match in an eternity as well! I am so excited I can't wait to get my upgrade and I just got engaged on the 18th last month!..lol

I did not realize that the shank was not in eternity. I had looked at photos many times! LOL E-ring shank remade in eternity and matching eternity band? Well, I cannot wait to see the pics!
