I don't understand how ebay (and other mediums of purchase) evades responsibility. I imagine if someone purchased a $20,000 fake item they would sue. if they weren't able to get their money back.

These fakes are getting extremely cleaver. I remember when all you had to do is check to make sure the label wasn't glued. Unfortunately Ive been "had" when purchasing a Birkin on ebay so of course I no longer buy from ebay. I just suck it up and go into the stores.
