Hall of Shame: Post the Ebay H Fakes Here!

I haven't reported this to eBay, because I don't claim to be an expert. But am I right that this is all wrong?
I think this is an authentic scarf, it may look odd because this is in mousse . The cw was also done in twill so, it looks flimsy at first glance if you were thinking it was in twill

xxx - not fake

Please, please - do not post here if you are not 100 per cent certain the item is fake. It is really unfair to the seller.

I have edited out the link and the seller's name and would really ask that members are more cautious when posting here. Also, if you are uncertain but have no interest in purchasing the item, please do not post it. Thanks for your consideration of the authenticators' time.

Thank you.

Thank you so much, marietouchet. I researched this scarf, and could not find that that the 90cm size had been done in anything other than jacquard. The only mousselines I found were the larger size. That was why I posted it as a question... but I won't do it again.

Clearly I am not expert enough to post on this thread. I have learned my lesson, and I apologize for wasting your time.:flowers:

Please feel free to ask (in the scarf reference thread) whether or not a particular scarf has been issued as a mousse, or cashmere shawl, or what have you. We just ask that people not post something in this thread as fake when they are not absolutely certain, for the reasons I mentioned.

Thanks.

Thank you for the excellent suggestion, mistikat.

I would bet an awful lot of money that ALL lists publicly available on the internet are incomplete, incorrect or not up to date
I'm sure you're right! Wouldn't it be wonderful if Hermès published an on-line database? The name of each scarf, the artist, the release date(s), the colorways, and the formats. They must have all the information stored somewhere. But I suppose there wouldn't be any reason for them to do so.
