This bag is probably my most used Chanel bag. Love her to pieces! but the price on eBay is pretty steep. It was originally less than half this price when it came out (season 12P) I wanna say around 1350? But if you buy it and use it a lot then price per wear will be lower. 😉Plus it fits more than the classic WOC/timeless cc woc/boy WOC.

Just purchased a pre-loved black caviar half moon woc and I should get it later this week. I know Chanel hasn't had this bag in production for the last year+ so I wanted to see if the ladies who own it are still using it? Opinions on the bag? Is it still considered a classic? Thanks in advance!

Congrats on your purchase. I LOVE my black caviar half moon woc!! And yes, it is a classic. It is actually my most used Chanel bag ( and I have more than 25!). It has been everywhere with me - on business trips, family vacations, girlfriend vacations to Europe, out dancing, literally everywhere. It is a staple for me when traveling and for going out. I have used it relentlessly and it still looks beautiful due to the durable caviar leather! I can fit quite a bit in it and wear cross body, as a clutch or as an evening bag (by looping the strap). Best Chanel purchase ever as far as I am concerned. Just wish I had snagged more when they were sold in stores and boutiques.

my half moon woc (beige caviar with GHW). It is my most used WOC and I have 5 now. It's in the top 2 of my most used chanel bags with my black old medium boy. As mentioned above, I like how the half moon holds more than most other style wocs (quilted woc, timeless cc woc, boy woc) and the strong magnetic closure as well.
