No. But I was browsing (desperately searching about it) and read from a website that apparently the Half Moon is simply not being released this year. Not sure why though. A month ago I went to Chanel and a snobby SA said they had no clue when/if they were getting it, so I couldn't even get on the wait list.

^ Wow that s*cks the SA was so rude...I clicked on this thread b/c I have one and love it...so really they aren't available this season? Great marketing angle...let people get into a frenzy b/c they can't have it and then release it again and jack up the price!!! LOL

Thanks! Yeah, I tried to get on a wait list as well but like you said, no one knows when it's coming back.

What I mean is, do Chanel stores still sell them? I'm looking on their online store and it doesn't seem to be on there. Does this mean you can only get the half-moon pre-loved?

The half-moon WOC hasn't been apart of any of the recent collections. I personally haven't seen it for 2 years. So unless it shows up in a future collection, you will have to purchase it preloved or there could be a possibility that there is one sitting in a drawer somewhere around the world.

Would you know of where I can read on how to authenticate pre-owned WOCs?

Last time it was out was 14C so about a year ago. It wasn't in Spring or Fall 14 or Cruise 15. Who knows when Chanel will bring it back. It's a very popular piece so I can't see it being completely discontinued.

I'm a newbie to Chanel and I don't want to call my boutique every day for all my questions and was hoping that someone of the TPF could help me.


I've got my eye on the WOC half moon :love:
Is this bag allways in the collection? Or is it seasonal / discontinued?


And which WOC's are allways "available" in the boutiques? And what are the prices?

The WOC is a seasonal piece by Chanel - when it comes out no one can say but it is a regular seasonal piece due to its popularity I believe :smile1:

Since it is a seasonal piece it means that it is not always available in-stores - only comes out in certain collections. I believe the price would be around $2100USD? I'm not too sure though because I'm from Australia - I just rely on this forum to find my info.

I'm sure if you look through and search for half moon WOC you'll be able to find a few threads on here. Additionally you can always keep an eye out for buy lists to see if Chanel has brought it out again.

After abstaining from purse urges for quite a while I'd really love to get a half moon WOC. I emailed Chanel.com to find out where I could get one and they sent some long convoluted response about not being able to do phone sales or wait lists or whatever, but all I want to know is, do stores get them and which stores?
Sooooo long story short you ladies are a much better resource:smile1:
Anyone have intel on what stores currently have half moon WOC?

It's a seasonal item and hasn't been available the last few seasons so stores will unlikely not have any unless there is one lying around from a few seasons ago. I want to say I haven't seen any since fall or cruise from last year? You can either purchase second hand or wait for Chanel to produce more - hopefully soon!
