Love love love the half moon WOC. My most used Chanel besides the other 4 bags. I love it more than the classic WOC. It holds a lot and I love that it can be carried casually or as a clutch for dinner. Love the magnetic closure versus the snap on buttons on the classic. I regretted not buying other colours as they are not avaliable for a while now. Moreover it is not as common as the classic!

Half Moon WOC's are the best. It's crazy how something so small can hold so much!

I really don't understand why they are not produced more often & released in all the fun seasonal color combos that the rectangular WOC's are.

Yoogi's had a really nice one today. It sold in 2 seconds. I could barely get all the pictures to download before someone snatched it.

speaking of colors... does anyone who is a half-moon "expert" know the various colors it has ever appeared it? i have seen many online and they are all very bland colors - no pinks, no brights, etc., just basics. and was it around for many years or just a few? it seems so hard to find a good one, unlike the classics, which flood the market

It is seriously the best bag! I agree, It's insane how much can fit in that little bag.

Do you know how much the one on yoogi's went for??

I by no means am an expert on the half moon but I think it was in production back in 2009-2010 when I was crazy and heavy into buying and building my Chanel collection so I recall some of the colors. I don't think it was ever produced in bright colors - largely neutrals such as black, white, brown, burgundy, navy. Beachbum, a long-time Chanel collector, had more than 6 in various colors at one point!

it was red, and they had it listed at 'retail' for 1500. so, it would have been either slightly below or slightly above that, maybe between 1400-1600. it sold too fast to see the price. but certainly it was far less then the ones on other sites - listed at like 2200-2400! crazy, i like half moon, but not that much, lol!
