To all Chanel Lovers,

When was the last time any of you saw the HALF MOON WOC? Does anyone have information if whether it'll be release in the near future? or has it been discontinued in general? Please let me know, couldn't find a thread on this. Thanks!! :balloon:

I used to have a black caviar halfmoon woc. Receipt was dated Nov 2013. 18 series. Shortly after my purchase (from Paris), I don't see black caviar halfmoon wocs anymore.

The very last sighting for me was non-black halfmoon wocs in a boutique in Asia around June 2014 (picture attached). Hth!

you could try posting on the ISO thread. they are often posted on resale/consignment sites if you're willing to go that route. they were the only woc i ever liked... i had 3 at one time but sold them all. i haven't seen the half-moon woc new in at least 2 years.

If it's okay with you, may I please know the reason why you sold all of them?

The last time I saw a halfmoon woc and tried it on was around September 2013. Still kicking myself for not buying one when they were still available. I wanted the beige with gold hw.

b/c they are discontinued and harder to find they all got a higher value than what i paid. so, they were sold b/c i was able to profit by their sale and purchase a few other (larger) bags i wanted more. the half moons are excellent wocs and hold a lot more than classic wocs. i'd recommend them over classics hands down.

Got it. But function wise, does the halfmoon woc have any cons? CATEYES mentioned that because of the flared shape, it can bump into things.

I have 2 reissue wocs and I love them and enjoy using them. But the halfmoon woc was the one that got away. [emoji3]

i never had it bump into anything, it's way too small. the profile of the bag is minimal. the only downside might be that it can be slouchy a bit b/c it doesn't have the boxy shape of the classic. i only had caviar versions, but i *think* a lamb version would have been nicer in this style - the caviar made it less elegant to me.
