Hi everyone! I am in Osaka right now... and have tried two Hermes already... no luck at all  I am traveling with 3 kids (2 of them r under age of 2...[emoji28]) so it’s hard to take my time to ask for other things before asking for a bag... so I just took the courage and (of course my so limited time) to walk in and just ask for bags... but no luck. And at one of the locations when I asked, the sa didn’t even bother checking and just told me on the spot no b or k or c. I only asked for k...

So was wondering if anyone has any tips to share or any SA contact that you can share? I have been reading this thread for awhile and really appreciate everyone’s stories and tips and advice. But just wanted to ask the question to see if anything has changed in Osaka and if there’s an absolute best location I should go try again. I have tried the midosuji and namba locations thus far. Thank you sososo much in advance!!!

My only advice is try the stores in Umeda as well. Particularly Hankyu and Hilton Plaza. Takashimaya Namba is most likely going to be a bust given the amount of tourists going there

I was in Osaka last week also with kids in tow and browsed through all of the Osaka Hermes stores looking to see what Lindy 26 options were available in bright colors. No pre-spending was planned for this trip so I figured chances weren't high for the more sought after items, but I asked anyway also about a Birkin 25 and rodeo charms whenever there was a store nearby. Left empty handed after looking through the Osaka stores – my best "finds" were actually in Kyoto Takashimaya where they had a very beautiful GM Rodeo in Celeste (such a dreamy soft blue to match the pillowy leather!) as well as a Lindy 30 in Noir, both on display. Kyoto is a beautiful town with a "retro" feel and charming little stores, very different vibe from hectic, LED-lit Osaka and Tokyo – highly recommend a quick day trip up if your schedule permits, it's just an hour away by train!

I finally did find one Lindy 26 in the new Vert Vertigo color at Kansai Airport less than an hour before departure while rushing to the gate – the size and shape was super adorable and I would be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to bring it home, especially given all the other unsuccessful shopping experiences over the past 7 days. I had to give it a pass finally though, because the shade of green wasn't my fav; I figured that for the premium price requested (even if tax-free), I had to be 100% super in love with the bag! The very helpful male SA mentioned that the airport stores do not receive B or K bags, but that they did occasionally receive Constance bags and that their last one had sold out earlier just that morning.

Hope this helps and that you enjoy the rest of your Japan trip!

Thank you @mochiblure for sharing your story! Really appreciate it :) I popped by the midosuji location again yesterday when store opened at 11am... no luck again. Even with no bags I was expecting to see more pink bags/slg/shoes on display since I am in japan! (I thought there’s a higher chance to score something pink in Japan and pink is also my favourite colour.) but I haven’t seen any bright or vibrant colour that catches my eyes yet.

I plan to go to Kyoto next week too so if no luck at umeda this week I will definitely try Kyoto or even Kobe. But I am getting it that it seems super hard to score something by just walking in... mmm

Anyhow thanks so much again for sharing and for all for reading. Will keep trying when I can! :)

Have a great day!

Try to zoom out on the map and you’ll be able to find many more:biggrin:

If I rmb correctly, there should be four in Ginza area, two in Shinjuku, two in Shibuya, one in Ikebukuro. There are also boutiques at Haneda and Narita airports. Another two in Yokohama. Then the rest are quite far away from the city and mainly serve local clientele so they aren’t too enthusiastic about tourists lol

there are total 11 stores in Tokyo alone, plus both airports have there duty free stores too.
while Ginza Maison and Marunouchi store are stand alone store, all others are within dept store (isetan, takeshimaya, Seibu, Tokyu, Mitsukoshi) do some searching you will find them all.

Hi all, just a little update from me... so I have gone to all 4 stores in Osaka and no luck with bags at all... [emoji17] think I am going to give up. Or maybe pop by again if I can...

However I did end up scoring the pair of shoes that I have been wanting for a long long time!!!! Thanks for letting me share! View attachment 4119021
You just have to go everyday. They get daily deliveries of stocks, not always B and K but the odds are good if you visit daily
