There were no special editions but seems like they have plenty of bags. In ginza there was a b30 on the iPad when I went but was quickly grabbed by someone. There were also kelly elan with ostrich feathers, a constance elan in black, and a lindy 26 in gold. The kelly elan was a blue box so that's kind of a limited edt but not limited to Japan only.

In Osaka Parco I was offered in the loop in black, and in my final stop in Takashimaya Osaka I was offered in the loop and a gorgeous c24 in black croc. No limited to Japan items as far as SA is concerned but you can buy those with no prespend!

I was there last week. I didn't buy any of those bags but they're really beautiful and exciting for those looking for one ;)

Hi,
I’ll be in Japan this Fall. I’ve never been to an H store there. How are the prices compared to USA pricing on handbags, scarves SLGs? Do you know roughly the pricing on the bags you saw? Appreciate any intel. NOT looking to load up for I don’t want to buy another suitcase coming back. LOL Thank you!

Ginza store is perhaps the sole largest seller of men’s RTW in the world, as per an SA there (more than NY or Paris) . The store is architecturally beautiful. But, although SAs were super friendly in all stores, I preferred shopping in the smaller one in Omotesando area. I think prices seemed comparable to the US (more than FSH) with more in smaller sizes. I saw a studded leather coat— that I eventually bought at FSH — there, but they said they didn’t have my ‘larger’ size 38 lol. They did have a sizable amount of etoupe silk RTW, including some designs that my home store and FSH did not buy. No oxymore crystal. The home department SAs didn’t seem as familiar with some of the lines that are pretty mainstream at madison or FSH. I don’t recall seeing any puiforcat. I didn’t ask about handbags, but there did seem to be a nice selection of silks. I’ve also been offered box calvi slg in Asia, and there were some available in Japan. (And that is with me showing absolutely zero interest in any leather accessories). Comprehensive selection of shoes but smaller sizes there too. OT, but Omotesando has more resale boutiques (several Amores and one Paradise Vintage). And, some amazing Japanese denim boutiques like Pure Blue Japan. I wasn’t impressed with BrandJFA when I saw it in person.

Thanks so much for the intel !! I’m hoping for one or two small items to remember my trip.

Hi, did you have to queue before the store opens? Are there more bags available for purchase in the morning? Thank you.

Hi, If one was to purchase a B or K in Japan, does that count as a quota bag in the states? Are the systems connected like with Paris? Sorry if this was already addressed in this thread or elsewhere. TIA!

The SA in Omotesando told me profiles were not connected at all…but I didn’t specifically ask about quota bags being seen globally.

ETA: just saw your prior post that you’ll be in Japan in the fall! In that case, I hope you’ll be able to get a B or K when you visit! 🤞🏼 ✨ I just got back a few weeks ago and wish I was already back in Japan!

Thank you so much! It’s been at least 15 yrs since last there. So looking forward to it and seeing the H stores!! When I read about people being shown an iPad list of bags available when at the store, I thought if they show me something GO FOR IT! Otherwise, a couple small items to remember the trip is perfectly fine. 😃
