I was just in Japan and scored zero.

Checked Omotesando - knew I was gonna get turned away since I’m gaijin. Yep. Couldn’t even get a beauty item lol. Sold out.

Checked Ginza- was offered a croc C18 - in a weird colour combo. Watched as every one was fawning over it. I passed as soon as I heard croc as I’m not interested in a C18 in exotic. Was told that’s the only bag available.

Watched as a woman freaked out about Ginza having no bags. She Demanded to be offered a Kelly bag in white right away.

Hubby and I were more interested in hovering around watching this play out. Poor SA’s - jusr nodded and said I understand! But no bags now lol.

I stopped looking at the other stores. Kinda just didn’t care anymore and just so happy I was in Japan again.

Waste of time worrying about H.

Saw a woman carrying a fake House at Amore Vintage in Harajuku! Interesting to see someone dare carry a fake. She was a tourist though. I don’t believe japanese people carry fakes lol.

No. I went straight to the top floor. I have an account with the store though. But this was prior to any purchase that day. I only asked. Waited a while - then was led to a bag that was kind of out in the open already on display?

She told me it was a croc mini C. I heard croc and said oh I don’t want any exotic this trip for fear of dealing with the paperwork bringing it back home.

I took a look at it more closely anyways and it was a weird colour combo - some parts of the bag were of different colours like brown green?

When I was looking at it other customers were fawning over it. Not sure it was sold immediately after I passed on it though

How were the lines in the Osaka stores? I am visiting in a few weeks and want a not popular bag so crossing my fingers they have that style and willing to sell it plus any great stuff they get that my local boutique doesn’t order.

They always have bags, after you spend money buying other stuff. My friend got a Kelly after spending 1:1 ratio in Tokyo recently

There were no lines at the Umeda store, but it's not as big as the Shinsaibashi boutique. If you do want to try your luck at the Shinsaibashi store, I recommend getting there at least 30mins before opening :)
