Hello!
I was wondering, for those who live in Tokyo, is the relationship building with SAs the same with the US? Is there a $$ amount that you need to spend before you become a "regular" with the SA? OR is there a different system? Also, is there a recommendation as to which H store in Tokyo is the best to build a relationship with an SA to eventually get a B offered?
I went through most of this tread but couldn't find any info regarding this, but if i missed it, please excuse me, and if you can lead me to the correct page to read about this, I would be most grateful! TIA!![]()
Thank you so much manilamerc~~! Really appreciate you taking your time and letting me know!Don't worry. In Japan, you can build a relationship just by visiting your SA often. No need to build up a serious purchase history. Of course, purchases wouldn't hurt but its not like the US where you need to purchase an X amount before being offered
Is it that much easier to get a Birkin or Kelly in Japan?
If so, why do you all think that is?
It was the case a few years ago. Probably 2010 or so, it was still easy to get in Japan because it was much more expensive in Japan. Nowadays, it's not as easy any more. Tourists have gotten word of how it was easy to buy one in Japan and have flocked to stores trying their luck. Since the stores need to supply their local clients, I suspect they are giving them first crack at the more desirable items such as smaller B and Ks in neutral colours
yes, it's still one of the most expensive place to get H itemsIs it still much more expensive?
View attachment 4122040 Dear Ladies,
Just got my H birkin 30 from Ginza store today.
I have no history purchase or any SA relationship. I just went in and straight away told the SA I need to buy a K or B. She showed me 2 birkin today and I took 1.
I went to 6 stores H in Japan. 4 in Tokyo, 1 in Osaka and 1 in Kyoto. But only got my bag in Ginza store. Tx u
