I think they stopped their boutique sales a couple of years ago. You can sometimes find seasonal items on sale at department stores or check out their outlets. I haven’t seen a disco there the last few times I went.

Gucci doesn’t do sales anymore. They used to do them twice a year. Occasionally you can snag a bag on sale at department store like saks but it’s pretty tough. Saks often sends out private links to certain customers, and the discounts are only on certain bags. Unlikely to get a disco on sale except the green color (without tassel) was recently at outlets.

My Gucci SA still lets me know about sale items in the boutique. They are few and far between and only available to certain customers very hush, hush. I have also been able to score quite a few Gucci bags and shoes on sale with inside information from my Neimans SA. Gucci still allows departments stores to discount certain pieces twice a year but this is usually to top customers and very discreet. Gucci now sends their closeout bags directly to the Gucci outlets in bulk. Just last year they came out with the "totem" line (with crystal butterfly) discontinued the entire line at the end of the year and I was able to get as many pieces as I wanted at 30-40% off from my outlet SA. So, you can still get Gucci at a good discount but it depends on what you're looking for. Many core pieces like Disco, Marmont only go on sale in closeout colors.

Replying to you here, as the other thread is for pics only.
The pics were texted to me from my Gucci outlet SA; there's not a mass mailing list that gets sent out. You typically will get these types of pics after you have an established buying history and relationship with an SA. I connected with my Gucci SAs in person, and we communicate via text for purchasing, pics of inventory, and questions. You can try to establish a relationship long-distance with an SA, but it's much more difficult....not impossible, but difficult. Call the general store number during a slow time and be very polite, and you may be able to connect to an SA that way. Gucci outlet is usually quite busy, and the physical customers will be prioritized over the phone customers if it's a high traffic time. If you get an answer, ask for the SA's name and cell number, and then you can text the SA with your requests. Be aware that the Gucci outlets have more business than they can handle, so many of the SAs are very nice people, but don't have a lot of time to text. They tend to only do that if they know you are a serious buyer (I'm not referring to amount you spend, but your follow-though in buying what you've requested they find for you.) I don't want to discourage you, but just approach shopping at Gucci outlets with realistic expectations. Don't give up, and above all, remember that poiiteness goes a long way and makes you stand out from the pack. Best of luck, and I hope you find some Gucci outlet goodies!

Could you possibly share your SA contact number or email. Looking for Guccisimo camera bag (I think that’s what it’s called)

Virtually impossible. Gucci doesn’t do sales on bags anymore although occasionally you can snag a sale bag from department stores who send private links to certain customers like saks. Not all bags on sale in those links.

Outlets are great but you’re not going to see the disco there except a discontinued color. Several months ago a tpfr saw a green one (no tassel) at outlet. Unless of course they ever decide to discontinue disco. For now I wouldn’t count on getting a standard color on sale.
