I'm also going next weekend. I'll be going to the Gucci outlet in Secaucus New Jersey . Hoping they have some good deals.
Love your new scarf and it really suits your wardrobe. That yellow bag will look amazing with it too!I snagged this beautiful Bengal Tiger GG Supreme scarf at Bicester Village in the UK today. I think it looks great with my GG Boston and Sam Edelman wedgesView attachment 4154617 but also my green Kate Spade bag too!
I'm assuming you mean that your tag has the G stamp with the circle around it? The SA is technically correct, in that all of the bags are made to be retailed or sold, to use another term. However, it's been my experience that many SAs will not admit to knowing the difference between a bag from a past season that was sold at full-line Gucci stores, as opposed to ones that are only sold through the outlets, with outlet-specific designs. They don't want to share the distinction, but there are small differences, usually in the amount of detailing in the design. There is also another distinction, which are bag designs from a previous creative director that were originally sold in full-line stores, but are only sold through outlet now (because they're popular, but don't reflect the current creative direction of the brand). The Lady Web is a good example of this. The made for outlet bags are a usually a little simpler in design, so the prices tend to be a little lower than full-line bags at outlet. However, if you love it, I wouldn't worry about the "made for outlet" stamp! I consider the quality of the bags the same. At the end of the day, it's still a Gucci bag, made by Gucci, and sold by Gucci. If you love it, that's all that matters!Hope that helps, and wasn't too confusing.
I first became aware of the difference, because it was pointed out to me by my regular Gucci SA, when a customer tried to return an outlet-only bag at the regular store (I was in the store when it happened, and asked my SA). It's been confirmed by both my SAs and the store managers at a couple of Gucci outlets, although they all said it's not something they're supposed to talk about. You can always check the tag for yourself, now that you know, but once you shop regularly at outlet, the outlet-only designs are pretty easy to spot. If you're doing a phone sale/send, you can always ask for a picture of the leather tag front and back (I've seen the stamp in both places).
So to recap:
1) Bags that have the G stamp with a circle, simpler designs that are made to be sold though Gucci outlets only
2) Bags that have no G stamp with circle, popular full-line designs (older designs that used to be sold in regular Gucci stores, such as the Lady Web) from a previous creative director that are still produced years later, but sold through Gucci outlet only
3) Bags that have no G stamp with circle, that are past season full-line designs (sold in regular Gucci stores) from the current creative director, moved from regular Gucci stores/dept. stores to be sold through Gucci outlet....usually about 6-10 months after it's seen in stores. The timeline can be longer, or not make it to outlet at all, if a design is very popular.
I don't live in Chicago any more, but I travel there often. I can't speak for what they might have at any given moment (because it's right next to O'Hare, the inventory moves very quickly!). I do, however, have a fabulous Rosemont SA who could answer that question. Frankly, with Chicago traffic times/rush hours, I'd just have her send it if she has what you want ($10 via FedEx, however much you purchase in one transaction). Keep in mind, there are no returns (exchanges only within 14 days, with receipt and tags). PM me if you need her name.Question - You seem to know a lot about the Rosemont outletDo they have any key pouches available? I'm thinking about making a trip out, but it's about an hour drive for me! TIA!
Same! I went to the Rosemont outlet, and nothing looked good. I actually popped over to the Coach outlet after and liked everything so much more. I think I can fall in love with the Gucci SLG's?went to the Gucci outlet in Secaucus,NJ and found myself quite underwhelmed...
I’m so over the Blooms and they seemed to be the bulk of the handbags.
I ended up with only this Red Guccissima belt (also mad at myself because i had to move up from
size 90 to size 95)

Did you happen see a large cosmetic pouch in blooms?Funny I went to the Secaucus Outlet and didn't find anything special either.
I'm not into blooms either.
I left without spending a dime.
I'd rather save that money and put it towards something that I really want.
I was sad though because I was really hoping that I would see something that I love. I am not into canvas. Not into the blooms and all that. I don't know, I just didn't see anything that I truly loved.
Yes I believe that I did . I'm not sure if it was large or medium sized though. I'm personally not into blooms so didn't pay it much attention to sizeDid you happen see a large cosmetic pouch in blooms?
Wouldn't that be nice! It's almost 6 hrs one-way for me!Hi there folks. I noticed some pics are from an app that the outlets use. What is it? Can anyone help me? The nearest outlet is over two hours away and I would love to be able to check before I head there.
