If you want discreet certainly choose all black. The solid canvas combo is certainly an eye catcher.

I had my eyes on the mini padlock but ended up going for the marmont WOC (same size as the Dionysus woc). I'm not sure if you're looking at the mini padlock or a bigger size. I ended up going for the WOC because it could be worn crossbody. The mini padlock was a tight crossbody fit for me and I'm pretty petite.

Omg this is stunning. Reminds me of why I wanted the all black!! I ended up buying the supreme print and black version today because I think it will be more versatile, and will stand out against my black winter coat and trench but I ordered through a dept store and it won't get to me until November (!!!??) so I have time to be indecisive and possibly exchange later... :/

I think the black is so classy and timeless, and I loved the fact that it wouldn't be as easily recognizable. I don't really want to advertise how much I spent.

Sharing my first Gucci and reveal! This just came in the mail yesterday and I love it. Ultimately happy I went with the canvas and black because I think that will give me more of a chance to wear it during the day.

Also - for my body type (I’m only 5’2”) it works surprisingly well as a crossbody! Versatile, elegant, sturdy — I love love love it!

I looked at the wallet version of the padlock in the store, and I have to say that the lock mechanism was pretty difficult for me to close with one hand. I got the Gucci compact wallet instead which is more of a card case with the billfold.

I personally don’t find it hard to open / close. You just squeeze in the stud on the left and it opens. I have closed it one-handed, but Yea, prob easier to close with two — also to ensure the metal isn’t jostling around too much, and there’s less chance of scratches. It is more “involved” than simply a magnetic or snap closure but I like it that way — and esp the key! — bc I live in the city.

Highly recommend you try out in the store to see if it suits you!
