Picked up a Tian print padlock as a bday present to myself (so I won't "open" it until Saturday). I'm so in love, can't wait to rock it. Apparently it's been such a hot seller; I got the last one at BG (it was hidden, but my SA's friend in the Gucci section found it for me). I only wanted to see how it looked in person, but loved it so much I ended up buying it.

I was contemplating Tian versus the pink blooms (which they didn't have), but we all agreed that Tian was the way to go.

Hi ladies I have recently come to know about the Gucci padlock its gorgeous! Would look to get in the black and tan leather. Deciding between the padlock in the mini or Gucci Soho disco. Does anyone here have both bags and how does it compare size wise with fitting things in the bag? The measurements are quite similar on the Gucci website. TIA! Xx

Which one attracts you more?

Perhaps try a practical exercise. Go to your wardrobe, take something (anything around the same size as the bag, perhaps shoes) one red and another black and drape a gold chain in turn around each. Do you like the pop of the red against your wardrobe or the black?

Red definitely attracts me more. This will be my first ever red purse. I'm just worried if I can wear it with anything .. Black is usually safe and goes with everything.

That's gorgeous! I love the embroidery.
I didn't realize there was a Padlock thread until now :smile: I really like my blooms padlock bag after having it for a few months - its really durable and perfect for summer! This one would be a great summer bag, too.

Currently deciding between this bag (in all black, black and canvas, or black and white) or the black Dionysus woc. Tried them all on in store today and they're all gorgeous. I was looking for a good day-to-night bag, and was originally looking only at black bags, because I don't have ANY!

The padlocks were probably my favorite visually, esp with the gold chain, but I loved the organization / interior of the WOC and fact that it can be a clutch. Torn also on the logo canvas ... color combo is great but I'd prefer something discreet.

If you ladies had to get only one (for the moment) what would it be? I am brand new to the designer bag game (and these forums!) after being burned by high-end non-designer bags of disappointing quality.
