Interesting...the strap on my newer disco is longer than the strap on the disco I purchased years ago. Also the buckle part on my older one lies in the front while the newer version has the buckle towards the back when worn. I’m actually considering adding a hole to my newer one while my older strap length is perfect for me.
So I would really like your opinion on this: I bought a Soho disco in black secondhand but in almost new condition with no wear. I have used it 4 times (like 7 hours max) and I just found this.. There is a mark on the side of the zipper, which has evolved into a hole. Seems the zipper scratches the leather or something. Do any of you have this problem? The bag is a year old now.
I also noticed that the glazing on the sides of the front of the strap are starting to break and the leather is kinda coming loose.
I only own a belt and a pair of loafers and I have not yet encountered any problems with those. What do you think??

Shoot. Does look like the zipper is responsible for the rubbing of the leather. Not sure what to say about the glazing issue. Did the seller give you the original receipt? Do you have a Gucci nearby you can take it to?
Yes my thoughts exactly. Seems like the zipper is scraping the leather of and it has caused a hole already.. I do have the original receipt but the Gucci store is not that near. Will try to go next week, but just wanted to know it isn’t just me goin crazy
Let me know how Saks does with the customer service. I will never order from them again. Bad luck with their customer service. Nordstrom is top notch.
Hello! Has anyone ordered from the Gucci site? I had a bad experience with Saks.com and I'm currently wondering which is the most trustworthy site.
Saks has the worst customer service. Their call center is in Central America. I just wrote a letter to the BBB because they refused to credit me the $ I was promised between the new and old price of that bag. Long story short, after calling Saks for two months, magic happened....I got my refund and only because they received my letter from the BBB. Once they resolve a dispute it gets erased. If you google complaints against Saks you will be stunned. Done with them forever. I have an SA at Gucci and they would be happy to mail anything to you. Great customer service. I am assuming online would be just as good. I have ordered LV online several times and no issues. Nordstrom also sells Gucci online and their customer service is outstanding.
Not a disco but I’ve ordered from the Gucci site. A few months ago I ordered a wallet. Came beautifully wrapped and literally arrived the following day. FYI I also just received disco from saks which was preordered on sale. No problem but I know a lot of others have had issues with saks.
