Won't show up for me, might have something to do in Europe. I love the sound of the anniversary loafer (are you sure it's not 90 years?)

anyway I'm broke now :p

Anyhow, we better keep to the subject of all things Bamboo in here, otherwise a senior Mod may thinking I'm doing my job, and so many other threads are about all thing sale recently ;)

Hi everyone. I saw some pics in here of the bamboo top handle mini shopper but no modeling pics. Does anyone have a picture of how it looks on? I am a little under 5' and saw online a stock pic of a model wearing the bag but she's probably a foot taller than me so was curious how it looks on a more petite person.

I haven't had a chance to take pics of my own, but you all may remember the variation, the bamboo of the handles and beads is covered in leather. I never liked it in pictures but once I saw the leather-grain and how the bamboo underneath is quite apparent I didn't hesitate. The hardware is light gold and sparkles subtly against the pale colour. It will go with everything and yet isn't black, I think it's very special in it's own right but also . A am very happy :D.

For those that are lucky enough to be considering a new BTH in the sale, they also had the Flora and the animal-printed calf-hair, all still a bit too daytime for what I truly wanted to use the bag for but the Flora will be a total classic. I must say the animal print looked better IRL than in the pics, the colours are darker and subtler too but in the end I went for the most quiet version ever.

How on Earth do they do this? This is leather, not a sausage skin! It must be witchcraft!

Is there any stitching visible on the handle leather?

Hi smalls :wave:

model proportions are useless for everyone but very slim giants.

I saw the mini-shopper in bronze python but didn't take a pic. Basically it looks like a proper handbag (not a shopping bag) on me, although I'm still too tall for comparison (5'6")

I hope someone petite can answer you

I took a picture just now but am having problems with uploading.

Basically, there is a seam and then the seam is covered with piping, all in leather. I like this bag more and more and more every time I look at her. I just can't believe the workmanship.

When I get time again I'll post pics

I own a bamboo top handle shopper in medium... I've posted pictures of it here in the past. I have a question for anyone who owns it. I've never been able to get the handles to behave.
- They don't stand up straight
- They don't lie down flat against the outside of the bag
- And recently my SA told me they were supposed to tuck INSIDE the bag, so I tried that, but it's a pain because of the snaps, and besides then you don't see the lovely bamboo.

Does anyone else have this problem? If so, how do you solve it? Or will the handles eventually fold own on their own as the leather gets softer? Or do I have a defective bag?

My bag is a little over a year old, but I don't carry it very often.

Here it is with the handles tucked inside, and you can also see how the leather is sagging (which has happened over time, even though I store it stuffed, in a bag, in a purse closet).

...and here is the same bag a year ago, when it was new (and I was 12 pounds heavier, LOL!), with the handles on the outside... but not flat against the sides, as you can see in the photo.

Thanks so much PT! Good to see you too. I had been hanging around the C forum a lot but the gucci soho sale bags brought me back into the G forum. I should be getting my top handle mini shopper soon so I guess I will know how it looks worn on a shortie but I was just getting impatient to wait to see it in person. :laugh:

I still think it looks good worn this way even if the handles don't lay flat. The handles sticking out doesn't look obvious to me. It looks a little more plain with the handles tucked in.
