How difficult is it to get an Artois in black size MM?
My husband doesn’t do in boutique shopping but orders online( I’m sure he has sent a request about the bag) , I’m just seeing if I should give him alternative gift ideas for Xmas because that was the only idea I sent him

Do you live in the US? This is what I did a couple of years ago. I called the Goyard in Neiman Marcus in Chicago and left a very detailed message on voicemail, specifying the bag and color that I intended to buy. I got a callback in a day or two from a SA and that started the process for purchase. I think the fact that I was specific and sounded ready buy (and they had my requested bag in stock) helped getting a call-back. I called that specific store because I read on these threads that they tended to be responsive. This was about 3 years ago.
Your husband should specify whether the Artois MM is black with black trim or black with brown trim. Both gorgeous!
I was in Goyard in NYC last weekend. I received the rudest service ever. My experience completely put me off from the brand. Really disappointing because I came to nyc with the intention of picking up a Goyard bag. I tried on the St. Louis and it had super short strap drop. Did anyone else have a problem with the store or this bag?
I can’t speak to the unfortunate service in the NY store, but if you read through the postings here, you’ll see lots of comments regarding the short drop of the St Louis straps. I own an Anjou PM, which is just like the St Louis but with leather lining, and I don’t wear it in the winter because I can’t fit it over my shoulder if I’m wearing a coat. If you’re still willing to consider Goyard, check out the Artois, which has a longer drop that the St Louis or the Anjou, and should work with a coat. It’s also a tote, but has more structure than the other two.
Does anyone know if Goyard used to do 14 dots on their Ys only then changed to 14,16,14,16 diagonally
I’ve been trying to secure a new ambassade PM from a store. I know it’s probably impossible but does anyone have an in with an SA that could help me, or any ideas? The MM is too big for daily use for me.
Both the Ambassade PM and the Ambassade GM have been discontinued. They will be launching the Ambassade II, which will be sized between the PM and GM. Color offerings will be the five Goyard neutrals: black, black/tan, green, navy, and grey.
Has anyone been to Paris or London lately and purchased from Goyard? I will be there in a few weeks and hoping to get a Belvedere PM. I didn’t have any luck last year as they were out of stock when I went.
