Hello,

I purchased this kelly 35 from the realreal this week. They advertised it as clemence leather but I’ve had clemence kelly before. It’s not as smooth and it’s more grainy. I feel like it’s togo. Can togo owners help me out?? Thank you!!

It looks like Togo to me I am certainly no professional but I have a couple Clemence bags and the grains seem bigger. Is It floppy? That’s is a characteristic too.

Lovely bag! Did you have it authenticated independently? I have a few pre-loved H bags including one that I thought was misidentified as Togo when it was actually Clemence, which @bababebi confirmed during authentication. Resellers, especially the huge ones like TRR, seem to make mistakes identifying leathers and colors somewhat frequently.

My prev clemence kelly was floppy esp on the sides but this one’s more structured and matte. These are characteristics of togo, right?

Yes Togo is more stiff

New to me Vintage 2005 Hermes Kelly 28 mou in togo leather and in bordeaux color. It came with full set and I’m in love! I always thought sellier is better in epsom leather but I was wrong.

This completes my Kelly collection (Kelly 32 sellier in chocolate epsom and Kelly 35 retourne in noir togo). Thanks for letting me share!
