There is a post in the Paris thread that says the computer systems are now linked and FSH can see US purchase history. Has anyone heard this? Does anyone have more info? And, if it is true, does that mean US can see FSH?
I’m trying to sort out facts from rumors here...
Many posters were informed that their purchases worldwide would be linked this year and this is probably being implemented now.

Toronto store only! I don't believe purchases and account info's are shared internationally. I know in the US any US-store can look up my account and see my history, but that doesn't translate if I go to Toronto or France. Loyalty really goes a long way in this game, so my rec is to stay in your Toronto store (but doesn't mean you can't splurge a little outside when travelling). GL!!

They have been working toward this for years, so it would not surprise me. That said, I have no specific information to either confirm or deny. Would love to know, though!

The challenges that they might have, in the US we do not use our passport to make a purchase. Essentially, the passport number is the only number to track those customers since many customers might have similar names or one customer may have several addresses and phone numbers. Even at that, I believe many customers might have two passports. Although, the worldwide system is implemented, there are many holes that Hermes cannot cover, not to count rules and regulations per district/country. I was thinking that only Hermes FSH can see the worldwide purchase history since it is the headquarter. For smaller stores, it would be very difficult to implement the system.

I wonder if the new design website launch in Europe is linked to this, as that just went live this morning. The systems could be totally separate, but it at least suggests a shared global IT platform and database.

I was told by my SA in London recently that very soon, when Brexit happens, they will change their system to link globally and then we can never globe trott and exceed our yearly limit ever again.

My SA in the United States told me that FSH will be able to see our US purchase history and vice versa in the next few weeks and that we will not be able to go over the semester quota by going to Paris. He also said that they are trying it out in a few US stores initially. He did not tell me which stores.

Hi lovely TPf-ers, not sure if this is the right thread. But I purchased a few things from FSH two years ago and have since changed to a new passport with new number. Does anyone know if my FSH purchase history would still be there and would be connected to my new passport automatically? TIA!

I have been told that I have multiple "profiles," each with a different home or work address. I have asked that they be merged, but the SAs can't do it. They claim to have asked corporate to do it, but nothing has happened over several years. If they can't manage that simple task (or avoid creating multiple profiles simply because items were shipped to different addresses), how are they going to accurately track purchases worldwide? Especially since no passport number is linked.

Interesting dilemma in light of all of the Facebook privacy issues
Who knows who Hermes can and does sells their data to ?
