Question about Jumping Shorter Boots. I tried them on yesterday, the leather is stiff and I walked like a robot. When I sat down, the top of the boot is "poking" to the back of my knees. I am around 5 feet 4, maybe I have short leg? The SA told me the leather will soften up and will get more comfortable when I start to wear them. Since the boots aren't cheap, I am not sure if I just take the SA's advice. Anyone have similar experience to share?
I have Jumpings in both the regular and shorter versions, it sounds as if the height is still a little too tall for you. How was the shoe size fit? Can you size down a little more? However much the Jumpings soften, the edge of the boots are never going to stop hitting the back of your knees. That would be highly uncomfortable.

I mentioned this in the latest purchases thread but the laces shown on the website look different from in person. Personally I like the thicker laces better. Do the boots have different laces they come with in the box? I know sometimes sneakers do that so I was just curious.

I noticed that too. There are two pair of laces that come with the boots. Unfortunately, those two pairs are identical thinner lace.

Laces are definitely different. My SA confirmed that the ones in store are the thinner laces, which are "wax coated." They should last longer. The thicker laces he thought were just regular tennis shoe strings.

It just sucks cause I like the look of the boots better with the thicker laces. Also, when you tried them on in person did the leather seem more matte to you or was it shiny?

I like the thicker laces too. They weren't shiny or matte. Sort of a goldilocks moment: Just right. Definitely not shiny. I'll probably still get them because they were very comfortable IMO. I'll buy some thicker laces from Amazon. Lol.

If you like the thicker laces better, I'm confident you will be able to find a similar pair elsewhere. On Target for example...
The leather is not matte. It has a beautiful sheen to it.

Has anyone seen and tried on this boots? My home store hasn’t received yet.View attachment 5419804
Just received mine, ordered from website by my SA as none yet in store. Arrived with cardboard boot shaper which slightly distorted/stretched the top so I removed them to let the material return to natural shape. I have a hard time finding high boots to suit my leg and these are ever so slightly big on my bare leg but overall comfortable

same here! I agree about the tops being out of shape. They're a nice fit around the ankles and calf and are super comfy. They're a great option for those of us with slim legs.
