This gave me a good chuckle! I encountered the same thing. I think it has to do with the feet swelling after wearing it awhile. I don't think it's a good idea to try and wear it through security. Too much hassle and I don't want to be the person holding up line. No help, just some commiseration.

Whenever I talked about this with my friends that had helped me to pull the boots off, we had a good laugh! LOL

Thank you. I looked for these for years, and found them in a H vault in Europe quite unexpectedly. It was like finding hidden treasure~I am more careful with these than my other boots. Not only because they are box leather, and box has gotten so scarce but because these are just so remarkable in red and darn if I didn't have to literally search the world over for them. Love them with a monochromatic outfit of black or grey or taupe or dark blue. (Pretty much my wardrobe!) Will wear these for Valentine's Day OF COURSE. My RED Boots!!!
When I wore them in South America where there are still many "horseman and women" These boots were quite the sensation! And me? I don't even ride.

Rouge H Box Jumping Boots~~

TankerToad and Chincac - your Rouge H boots are to die for. I've finally decided to take the plunge and get some black ones - does anyone know if they only come in the ruthenium hardware? I tried them on in the store last week and it looked like regular palladium, but on the website it says they all have ruthenium... Just curious. The ruthenium doesn't look much darker though on the site - it still looks silver-ish.
