Thanks to all of your comments and beautiful pictures on this forum I finally decided to go ahead and get the Hermes Jumping boots in black! Unfortunately they do not have my size, anywhere  The Hermes store nearest to me did a search and could not find them at any other stores. Does anyone know if the boots are more of a seasonal item or do the stores get them in all year round?

Are you in the US? (Your location says LA, that's why I'm asking) I think that the US webstore has them in all sizes :smile1:

I wish! The website only has the boots in brown on the US website and the smallest size is a 38. I need a 37.5 in black...I think. I know they all run a little bit different so I obviously need to try them on to be sure about the size. The website use to have the black, but they are no longer available in any size.

I am curious whether or not they will restock before next fall. It seems like everyone is gearing up for spring/summer at this time, so I would imagine they are not going to restock the boots for I while...maybe next year?

Stupid me :noggin: I knew they were the brown ones but completely forgot about it... I really am the most absent-minded girl in the world... :girlwhack:

That's okay. Thanks anyway!

Hermes said that they would give me a call when they get the boots in, but I am wondering how long that will be or if they will remember. My hope is that it is only going to be a month or so, but it might be a longer wait.

Wow Ranag, what a wonderful collection of your H boot family. Can I check with the jumping boots scratches easily? I'm asking because the box calf medor clutch I bought had a lot of scratches from one of my evening gowns which I wore for an function.

Just wondering if the abrasion kicks in, would it suffer from the ugly scratches?

TIA

Could these boots look any more perfect on you??? You wear them beautifully! Are they comfortable?

Thanks Thimp. The boots are extremely comfy and great for walking. My only gripe about my brown jumping boots is that the left ankle part is so narrow that I have to contort my foot like a ballerina to let it escape and when my ankle gets caught there is some pain-lol. They can be stretched but I rather keep the fitted look of when the foot is in :)

I'm in a bit of a dilemma I can purchase only one Hermes shoe at the moment. I am debating between the jumping boots or sandals like the new corfou (spelling?). What do you guys think is the better investment. I live in the sf bay area so the extreme weathers arent a huge issue here. I know the price difference between the two is pretty significant but I don't want to waste money on shoes that sit there forever and never be worn because not wearing anything you spend money is too expensive in my opinion. I like a saying of one of my old coworkers...I'm too poor to buy cheap stuff..lol.

Not sure if you made your decision or not, but I'd personally go for the boots. I don't know how the Corfou sandals wear, but I think they'd start looking worn or stained much quicker than the boots (they are suede, right?). The last time I was in SF in the summer, people were wearing ear muffs and heavy jackets, so I think you might actually be able to wear the Jumping boots year round! Love the saying, "I'm too poor to buy cheap stuff"; might have to get a t-shirt made with that printed on it :D

Yes I think the jumping boots may be a better investment piece. I will probably purchase them in the beginning of fall. Sf weather is always pretty cool but I work in silicon valley and we get the hot days so Im going to wait to purchase them, a tshirt with that saying sounds cool..Lol

I can finally post pics!! There are two pics of the jumping boots I found in Athens Duty Free!!! Talk about luck!! The other pair is called Direct and I bought these at the Chicago H a few months ago! :) :) :)
