****Givenchy Care Thread****

What a beautiful bag, totally missed this post and hope you are still enjoying it. If you still need to waterproof or stain guard the suede, you might want to spend some time cutting out plastic bag so that you have only the suede part exposed before spraying. If you get a little of the spray on the snakeskin, you can quick use a soft cloth to wipe it off, followed by some leather conditioner.
Thanks for replying, I hadn't realized it's been a year since I've had the bag! I'll give that a go, I've yet to spray my bag with anything but I have used some suede cleaner on the suede... It's gotten a little bit dirtier. Hadn't thought of tape, that's a wonderful idea. Am definitely still enjoying the bag!

Hi! I had my Antigona in blue pebbled leather for quite some time now. I noticed that it has black spots in the handle. Is there a way that I can remove the black spots? Let me know any specific products or hacks that worked for you. Thanks!

Have you tried an eraser, has to be a particular type, but I can't remember which. If that doesn't work, try a leather cleaner like lexol. Once it fully dries and the spots are still there, you may want to consider baby wipe and/or magic sponge. Test both in inconspicuous spots first. If that doesn't work, I'd go to a leather specialist to see if they know of a professional cleaner.

Hello everyone. Any suggestions on how to care for a really light-colored givenchy goat skin/ pebbled leather? I've read that collonil water stop works great on it. Would you agree? How about products for cleaning and conditioning the leather? Any input about its care would be highly appreciated.

Thank you!

I pretreated mine with Scotchgard Leather and Textiles protector and so far no color transfer.

Good morning Ladies, I have just received this, new to me purse, and help would be appreciated with suggestions for caring for/treating the leather please. Perfect when closed, but the print is beginning to look dry and cracked when flexed open. Thank you

Collonil conditioner. Better to do thin layer, dry completely, then another thin layer. If it still looks parched, consider waiting a few days before another layer.

Thank you for your advice, I had thought Collonil but wasn’t sure how the printing would react. I’ll take it slowly as worth a little care. Many thanks

I've used it for many years now and it's always been pretty gentle, but ofc, always test if it is something expensive and/or delicate.

Hi ladies! I recently got on the plane with my nightingale (black goatskin) and had to put it under the seat so when I got home, i was weirded out by all the airplane germs so I took a baby wipe to the entire bag. Now the leather feels a little stiffer/brittle than before.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this? What sort of conditioner should I use?

Hello, were you ever able to get the leather back to feeling normal?

Hi everyone, I’m new in this blog and not sure how to use it still. I bought a preloved mini antigona, when I googled the code on the bag I found another anigona with the exact same code, is this normal? I’m worried it means my bag is fake, I got my bag from Fashionphile. If anyone can help me with this question would be greatthank you✨

Hello.
I got my Antigona mini couple of weeks ago from 24s. Today was the first time i used it and I noticed the leather on the handles seems to have some cracks. Is this normal? Unfortunately, I’ve taken the tags off and not sure if I can return it anymore. I am attaching some pics for reference.
Is this a defect or am I just being paranoid?
Do you think if I took it to the Givenchy store they can do something about it?
Thank you

I've also never seen this in any Givenchy mock crocs. Id also recommend returning or go to Givenchy store for advice.
