Hadn’t noticed these two bags were so similar in size. I do know the Disco fits double or more that what the mini fits. I had a black Mini but sent it back cause I got a very wrinkled one (this is not usually the case) so I’ve tried the size before and it holds a lot less although still a good amount.
I think for me though, I’d still use both quite a lot so these two might end up being my two mini/small bags in red.
The Soho is just so carefree and casual and I love that but for evening and dressier events, I need a statement red that really stands out. I don’t think the Soho elevates any outfit but rather gives it a bohemian easy look. The Marmont on the other hand, splashes a hint of elegance and glamour to any look. That’s why I feel I would need these two or maybe the Soho and Super Mini in red, to make them stand apart a bit more. Still torn but this helps a lot. Thank you! [emoji813]️

I have the small in the beige color and I absolutely ADORE it! I wear it practically every day for the past year and it still looks like new. The size for me is perfect and fits just what I need for an everyday bag. I too was stumped between this and the mini and in fact I'm going through this again now. I need a new black bag and am thinking to buy the small again but this time in black. That is how much I adore the bag and that size. But then I also LOVE the red in the mini lol! That size fits a bunch but it's certainly not an everyday bag. I hate having to make decisions like this but I do know you would NOT be disappointed with the small size at all. It's great!!!

Darn it, now you’ve got me rethinking the small size too. Lol. I know what you’re saying. And the small camera bag is a great small to medium (spacious) sized piece that is still reasonably priced compared to what’s out there by Prada, YSL, Fendi. Even Balenciaga has done big (exaggerated) price increases lately. Givenchy still has somewhat less exuberant prices but I find that only the Pandora collection is as wearable and comfortable as these Guccis, but not nearly as dressy or sophisticated.
I agree. The Gucci Marmont Camera in the small is a great purchase for a spacious, wearable bag. Maybe not for everyday work (I need more room for that) or a super elegant evening event, but definitely perfect for everything in between.
Ugh, back to total confusion. I might just have to get 1 small in black, 1 mini in red and then a Super Mini in black, just to cover all sizes. But 4 gucci small/mini bags is too much, right?
And to make matters worse, I recently Discovered the Gucci Marmont mini chain bag too, which is another option since it it more spacious than the Super Mini (and a bit cheaper) but I don’t know if it’s as cute (it doesn’t come with the gorgeous heart in the back...) IMG_0152.JPGIMG_0155.JPG

I went to the Gucci store yesterday to try on the Super Mini, cause I had only seen it in videos. I loved the design. It is equally beautiful in real life. It is sooo cute. But it really doesn’t fit much. [emoji25] I really, Really wanted it to be an option, but at almost $1,000 dollars it didnt even fit my phone, card holder and 6 ring key holder... I put all three in there and I had to really struggle for it to close. [emoji24] I didn’t try a lipstick on the side but that would have fit for sure but I would have to downsize on the card holder, keys and phone and how does one not take those 3 items? At that price I really don’t want to have to choose between such essential items to carry. I’m sad cause I’m really in love with this bag but it unfortunately won’t work for me so my choices now are Mini and Small camera bags for sure. ‍♀️[emoji23]

Ok ladies, I took the plunge and ordered these two beauties.

1. The Gucci Marmont Mini Chain bag- in porcelain rose.
This one is 2 inches wider and a one inch taller than the Super Mini but still has the chain detail and the nice clutch look. So this mini chain bag should be a better investment than the Super Mini.
And I just really wanted something (anything!) in this gorgeous porcelain rose nude. I think it is so sophisticated and vintage looking. So considering price, size, and color, this one seemed like the perfect pick.

2. The Gucci Marmont Small Camera Bag- in black.
This bag was a thoughtful purchase. I had been wanting the mini and loved the shape way more than this small one, but after trying the bag on and reading countless reviews and valuable feedback from you ladies and some youtubers too, I decided that the small is truly a more versatile bag than the mini. It really goes from day to night smoothly and holds just about anything one could need. No downsizing needed. I feel it is truly the bag with the best price to value ratio in the entire marmont collection.

And I decided then, that my next purchase will be a Mini Camera bag in hibiscus red. That way, I’ll still own a mini camera from the Marmont line and it makes sense in the red since I truly gravitate towards red so much.

That would leave me with 3 different Marmonts bags in various sizes and colors.
Is 3 too much?
You guys tell me.
I think I could have 5 and I would probably find a 6th one to lust over. [emoji23]

I’ll keep you posted on reveals and first impressions.
