Hi!
I am very torn about this bag right now. This will be my very first Gucci piece. My main concern is right now what does it fit? I watched all the WIMB videos on YouTube, and I am still undecided. Can this fit a water bottle along with a small wallet, battery pack, 2 pairs of glasses, and a key cles?
My main concern is the water bottle... I will be taking the bag to NYC for a day and I like to stay hydrated....
Can anyone provide some pictures?

I really want a medium marmont. I prefer the look of the small but it is just too small for me. If anyone owns a medium I would love to hear your thoughts on the quality, wear and tear, loss of structure and any general experiences you've had. And any photos would be awesome if you have any to share!
This would be my first designer bag so I just want to do as much research as I can! I'm thinking of getting it in the black leather to use as a day bag and for going out at night. I know its probably a bit big for more formal events but I think for dinner, movies etc it would be great.
I know its a super trendy bag but it's the only bag right now that I just cant get out of my mind. I feel like other than a Chanel jumbo (which is waaaay too much to spend right now) I haven't really come across something that quite does it! If anyone can suggest any better options though Id definitely be open to them

Lovely bag! Like this color it looks so elegant. How is the color transfer on the back of the bag after a year? I am eyeing on a Gucci Small Top Handle Marmont hopefully to get it in few months time.
I’ve had no issues with colour transfer, but I’ve also not used the bag as much as I normally would as I’ve mainly been out and about with bubs and a nappy bag this year, haha. I’d say I’ve worn it out maybe around six or so times (including a weekend road trip) and I’m not super precious with it when I’m wearing it!
Thanks for your reply! It seems like no one is mentioning the color transfer problem, not even in YouTube wear and tear video. Guess this is not a worry at all, I hope =D
Gonna try it on in a Gucci store and decide which one suits me more.
This photo makes the black leather look so pretty.My Gucci Super Mini Marmont and my Gucci Small Marmont bag. The leather is so luxurious.
I feel like I should have got the Medium size instead of the small but ultimately got small as it would work great for day and night.
I have the super mini in this colour and I wear it quite frequently (with blue jeans!) and there has been no colour transfer at all. I'm also not gentle with it and it's remained in great shape for the ~8 months I've had it.

I have the medium Marmont in black with the gold studs. It's a fantastic bag, and looks new still after 2+ years! I live a busy life with kids, and haven't babied the Marmont at all. It has retained its shape, and is resistant to scratches, wear, and tear. I continue to be impressed with the Marmont, and at its relatively low ( for luxury bags!) price point, it's a super functional bag. Since the first one, I've bought a Marmont camera case, a Marmont small crossbody, and just bought another camera case. Plus, I also love that the Marmont line was born from an archival Gucci design, so even though it's trendy now, the design has already stood the test of time.
The Mini and Small size might be a bit too tight for your needs. I would suggest going with the Medium size, it would fit all those items. I really like the look and proportions of the Medium size.
For the folks with lighter colored Marmont bags, how obvious are the creases in the leather? Do they bother you? I recently ordered the small camera bag in porcelain rose, and it was pretty creased right out of the box. The site indicated it was the last one left, so I suspect I received the store display model. I’m guessing I’ll make creases anyway through normal use? Has that been true for everyone? Thanks!

Does the GG mini marmomt 2.0 have smooth calf leather? I purchased it used on Mercari but trying to do research if it’s authentic bc the leather is not smooth and supple as calf leather. (I have already posted in the Authentucate forum).

I can’t wait to join this club! I’m getting the Marmont flap in Europe this August. I can’t decide between the nude leather, rubin velvet, or that turquoise looking velvet. They’re all so beautiful! Does anyone know if Gucci still carries the emerald green Marmont bags in store? Were they just seasonal?
I’d go with the nude leather Marmont. Looks like Saks is selling the small Marmont in the emerald color, but it is a
long waitlist [emoji19]
