I purchased a Gucci Marmont Velvet from a local seller here in Hong Kong and I am quite upset. She doesn’t know that much english so there’s a miscommunication... I originally wanted a Velvet Small in Rubin but it turned out the bag was Velvet Mini in Pink.. okay, pink I can forgive, but being it was a mini.. It made me upset.. and she doesn’t want to do a refund because the trade was done.. please help me to love this bag... I think it doesn’t

Marmont Girls, I need your help!
I have been undecided for weeks about what Marmont bags to get. I’m torn between the Small Camera bags in red or black. Same with the Mini Camera bags, also red and black and now, to complicate matters, I feel I want to try the Super Mini, cause it is just so damn cute.
For reference, I have a Gucci Disco Soho in red and I love it. It is my small but spacious casual bag and I use it often. I also own a Givenchy Pandora Mini in black which is my small but spacious super casual black bag for travel, concerts, and casual outings.
I need at least 2 dressier bags, ideally in different sizes but not against getting the same size in two different colors.
I want to get at least 2 Marmonts but not against having 3 (I know, I have acute Marmonittis! [emoji23]) and even maybe at some point, add the green to my collection. (Lord help me!)
So my options are:
Small camera bag black and/or red
Mini Camera bag, black and/or red
Super Mini flap, black and/or red
Notes: I reach for red the most so I need to add one more red.
Also, not sure if supermini although so cute is practical due to size but I do carry very little now a days.
In a perfect world, I’d have 6 Marmonts but in real life I can only do 2, 3 tops and that’s already a lot for the same line. I just think they are so well made, beautiful and timeless.

My fisrt two handbags were black so I really want to add a pop of color and what a better color than red? Would you recommend this bag? Or Do you think the marmont flap bags will go out of style soon?

Hey! I love this bag. Especially in red. I don’t think the marmont bags are going anywhere. Those who were worried about it being a trend, can now count on 3 plus years of these bags standing the test of time. I think they are a modern take on a classic look and I for one, think they’ll be around for much longer. The flap bag has become a new alternative for those who can’t afford the insane prices of Chanel, LV or even YSL. And that makes them even more popular, in my opinion. Very few designer bags of that quality and status start at that price point, like the Super Mini and Mini Camera bag still retailing at under $1,000 (which is still a lot!).
I’m more of a camera bag/zip top kind of gal but I love the look of these Marmont flap bags. This red is so beautiful. I would definitely get it. I’m getting the camera style version and/or Super Mini for sure.
I own many Marmont Bags, I am addicted to this classy style bag. I wear them daily and they all still stand up beautifully and look like new.

For the second bag, I like the shape of the mini more than the small. In terms of size, the small is close to the soho disco.
Thank you! I agree about the shape of the mini. The small is convenient but I’m not sold on the shape. I’ve had it once and returned jt cause I wasn’t sure. Then I second guessed my own return and started considering it again. But you’re totally right. At this point I’m thinking either 2 minis in black and red. And maybe do the super mini in porcelain rose? Or red mini and black super mini. Ugh, at least I’m narrowing it down. Process of elimination, baby. Thanks so much for your help!
