Furla is also a bit pricey in Asia esp here in the PH. But really of high quality esp in its leather. Too bad their styles as sometimes very backward. Would love to see them experiment though.

Prada Psycho---thanks for info on bags made in China. I recently bought a Furla off of bluefly (I posted a link in a previous post) and I wasn't sure what to think about it. Because the inside label just said genuine leather. Not made in Italy. (I have on small wrtistlit--but it was made in Romania--so I've been told). No doubt it's a cute purse--but I think there are some small quality differences. I still think it's well made and sturdy.

Off topic--how does one post photos? (If there's a link giving guidance--greatly appreciate it).

Glad to hear someone else is seeing a difference in quality between the Made in Italy/Made in China bags. Sometimes I think I'm getting senile. ;)

You should be able to find a tag in that wristlet. Lots of time it takes going over every inch of the inside of the item to find the provenance tags.

Posting my furla collection:

This is my first time posting photos--I hope they come out!

I fell in love with the color of this bag, and was so disappointed to see it was out of stock everywhere. But the nice customer service person at Furla said to keep watching it may become available again. And after just a few days it was on their website again still at half price so I grabbed it. For me it's the perfect size not too big and not too small. And the color as you can see is a stunning bright blue. It is deer leather so it is both soft and durable. I'm in love! I can see myself looking for more Furla's in the future.

I just got one! The last new one in SF store. They still had a display when I left, and it was 50% off.

Jroger1 i'm so sympathetic for you! i started liking furla a few years ago, and could never find ones i saw on the net! i'm fortunate to be able to shop at the source here in italy. bought this acai blue croc anthea! Furla can have some pretty simple bags, but they are starting to come out with really hip designs!

Lucky you, that is a beauty! I love their croc almost got a green one a while back but it wasn't on sale so I backed out.

the new Furla pieces for Fall winter are quite beautiful :) They're moving up :)

Furla used to have a free standing store in Vancouver but it closed a long time ago. I used to love the smell of leather walking in there.

I'll have to make more of an effort to look for these bags (the made in italy ones).

Prada Psycho - I now want that messenger! I think I see a drive down to seattle in the near future.

I've been looking at the hobo. I'm liking the colorblock look, but do you know what is "full grain buffalo nubuck"? Isn't nubuck faux/simulated leather?

I've been hearing and seeing lots of good things about Furla too. I really like the new Oxalis style - there's so many ways it can be held. I posted a poll earlier if I should get one or a Loewe Ame...but am leaning more towards the Furla the more I look at it.

Hope this link works:
