I am sure you would be able to get your money back if you decide to sell it later but I am very sure that will not happen. Settle and enjoy your bag. Just know many of us are supporting you. Haha thank you. Yes, it’s probably one of those 2 bags from fashionphile. Since my SA told me smoothe barenia is hard to come by, I was watching them super closely. The other one got sold out immediately after they started 10% off promotion last week. I had to act fast too🤣💨. Unfortunately, i found some more flaws yesterday. The plastic part on the back of the H clasp is broken, which seems a relatively common issue of Constance? but they didn’t list this part either. It’s a little strange to me that the bag still got “excellent condition”, originally listed for 15.2k before the very initial 10% off. My price was 12.3k pre-tax, with the additional 10% off last week. FYI, the original price sticker was still on the orange box and it says $9k from 2018.

Nonetheless, i’m keeping the bag because of the leather. It’s still beautiful and makes me happy when i look at it. That matters most.
I think it's a beautiful bag and the fact that it's been your HG bag for 20 years shows you've always loved it. Although it's quite a lot of money, it sounds like you will love and enjoy it for the long term. As long as you can afford it, I think it's wonderful you purchased it. When I start to freak out over having spent more than what I anticipated or for something hugely expensive, I tell myself to just take a breath. In a bit of time and after it's paid for, the pain of the $ will start to fade and you will be left with years and years of a bag that you absolutely love. Congratulations!

Congrats!!! Barenia leather is one of the H heritage leathers, which are known to be durable and long lasting. Some heritage leathers can be delicate but if taken care of properly, they will last you a lifetime and possibly even generations. Barenia leather will gain a patina over time and show characteristics of use from its owner. Your Kelly will age beautifully and gracefully as you use it more. Don't worry too much about the price, just use it and enjoy wearing it. Besides, Hermes bags are known to hold value great and for quota bags, you can easily make a profit if you really can't justify the price you paid.
