Thank you!! Yes, I am planning to keep it despite the fact that my preference is PHW😊. I was a little surprised to see more pressure marks/scratches than expected, because I thought Fashionphile excellent condition was pretty decent? These were not really shown on their website.

Having said this, I am still so happy that I was able to grab her, since I can’t find a barenia c18 from any other resellers at the moment. My SA may not be able to get one for me for a long time either.

This is a GORGEOUS classic that will grow old with you. I know you made the right choice! Stunning! Remember that sellier is more expensive to make and requires a master craftsperson to create these masterpieces. That surely accounts for the higher price tag. What a unicorn bag of dreams!!! My Holy Grail for 20 years was a Barenia Kelly. I prefer Kelly bags over Birkins because I like a strap. Today, I bought a Kelly 25 cm Sellier Fauve Barenia with GHW. I prefer PHW; however, I have never been offered or seen a Barenia Kelly IRL, so I didn't want to turn it down. I wanted to faint when they said it was $15,400 for the bag (pre-tax). I bought a Fauve Barenia 30 cm Birkin last year for 14K (approximate). I have NEVER spent this much on a Hermes bag. (I own no exotics) and I need some TLC from my fellow "purse forum" Hermes collectors. Did I spend too much? It's a smallish bag (not mini), and I will get good use (at least I have convinced myself that it is functional.) Is anyone else having Hermes sticker shock? Has anyone else bought something that was embarrassingly expensive? I realize all Hermes is in that category, but this piece felt priced incredibly high for the size and being a non-exotic leather. Also, I notice at least 3 people on the forum have been offered Barenia Kelly bags this week.....Triplets?

I received the bag yesterday. Can you see the long line of pressure marks on the upper left side, for example? There are a few spots like this. Can these be removed by hermes spa?

I don't know if Spa can remove pressure lines. I am sure there are others on the Forum who know the answer.

My first nice bag (not H) was a gift from my parents when I was About 16. (1966). I’m now 73. Enjoy your bag. Time flies by in the blink of an eye.
