Personally think that's not a bad price at all! It's prob around 13k from Hermes so it's a very small premium for resell and you dodge the H game

My Holy Grail for 20 years was a Barenia Kelly. I prefer Kelly bags over Birkins because I like a strap. Today, I bought a Kelly 25 cm Sellier Fauve Barenia with GHW. I prefer PHW; however, I have never been offered or seen a Barenia Kelly IRL, so I didn't want to turn it down. I wanted to faint when they said it was $15,400 for the bag (pre-tax). I bought a Fauve Barenia 30 cm Birkin last year for 14K (approximate). I have NEVER spent this much on a Hermes bag. (I own no exotics) and I need some TLC from my fellow "purse forum" Hermes collectors. Did I spend too much? It's a smallish bag (not mini), and I will get good use (at least I have convinced myself that it is functional.) Is anyone else having Hermes sticker shock? Has anyone else bought something that was embarrassingly expensive? I realize all Hermes is in that category, but this piece felt priced incredibly high for the size and being a non-exotic leather. Also, I notice at least 3 people on the forum have been offered Barenia Kelly bags this week.....Triplets?

By the way, dear OP, how do you feel after those cheerful and envious answers ?

I love it if I could have I would have gotten it so enjoy. I would however call them about the nondisclosure maybe you can get them to give you some sort of credit. They used to be great about descriptions but lately there have been some issues. Wow!! look at the difference in the price. Amazing. I am happy you were able to snag this. They dont come up often. You must post some more pictures for us.

Congrats! I got one this weekend too. The week before I was offered one at another store but when they pulled out the strap, the hardware didn't match. They weren't allowed to sell it to me! But the manager made up for it with this one!

I got a Black Box Sellier Birkin 30 this year for over $18,000 USD. I had put aside $12,000 to buy a new bag, but after I mentioned to my SA I loved Box, and always wanted a Sellier Birkin, when she offered me the BBB, I couldn't refuse. Love it.
