Ooo I have something like that! the top is white though but it has big fancy sleeves with black trousers as a set. I got it from Alice & Olivia two years ago, never wore it, still has the tags. It's part of my "Neglection Collection" LOL!!!
I have a vintage silk blouse that was my moms with a fancy ruffled collar and sleeves and IMO it looks so good under blazers and peeking out of jackets! The trousers would look nice too with the blouse and caplet.
I would love to see you at the casino, I’m often times stared at due to my being “over dressed”.

:drinks:
I'm sure you know your spending limits and won't dig hubby in a hole
I always ask hubby "are we ok? are we going to be poor?", this way I know if I need to cut down or stop. He tells me when things are slow and to lay low for a bit.
Summer prices are great! I see already things starting to come down. Ebay most sellers always over ask, they think they have the last pieces on earth then wonder why their stuff doesn't sell.
Etsy and TRR furs move quickly.
Definitely, I do not believe in over spending or living beyond my means! Honestly, I just feel fortunate that I’m blessed with such a great family, every other luxury or amenity I receive is a bonus! My DH is usually great at giving me gifts to show his appreciation, but I see that with furs I’ll have to buy them myself. I’ve shown him so many pictures that he doesn’t want to see another fur. He just says if you like it, get it, show me when it gets here . Poor guy .

Ahhhh I like that one!! Is it faux? It's really nice.
Affordable Faux is great for bad weather, but some are still too nice that I don't want to ruin them, so the one I picked...hehe oh lordy...ok here's a sneak peak :giggle:

Not quite what you were thinking aye?:lol::lol:
That my dear is totally different than what I was thinking... now I’m intrigued! Why does that little eye remind me of the green m&m?
The multi colored fur I posted is faux but I’ve seen real variations that are even nicer, I just admire them from afar!

That sounds really nice! It would look cute peaking out of a teeny fur capelet too.
Oh I get stared at, one time laughed at..but I just ignore it. The first hour i am a bit shy though, and I feel a bit anxiety if I'm stared at.

Awww sounds like you have a lovely family :)
Your hubby sounds funny, yep men don't really enjoy looking at the pictures lol. My hubby too, and when it arrives he doesn't even remember that I showed him the pic days before!

It's suppose to have low's in the 30's here with high's in the high 50's, but if this rain doesn't stop, I'm going to be wearing mine in the house!!! :giggle:

Those are good enough fur temps for me :)
But yeah the rain kills it, if it's just a drizzle then ok but not if it's a steady rain.

Well here was my lil pink faux coat with puppy on the back that was going to be worn tomorrow. As you can see I would have froze my butt off. Not quite sure what coat i'm willing to get wet...I have to look at my inventory :giggle:

Be glad you don't live on the coast!! Those folks are going to have a real nasty mess!!

True!
It's funny because so many Nor'easter's we spent in AC NJ by accident. We were there during Hurricane Sandy and were evacuated from our hotel. We still managed to have a good time. We were the last and only couple eating at the Rain forest cafe. The chef came over, he was hand whipping cream for our deserts... lol
No one knew at that time how bad it was going to get

We just decided to stay in, no outfit tomorrow :(

I find that people especially women will laugh or stare out of jealousy. I personally would look out of admiration; I like to admire well dressed women for either the beauty of what they’re wearing, or their ability to put items together well.

I have a great family as I’m sure you do too because afterall children are usually reflections of their parents right? My goal is to raise happy healthy well rounded kiddos! Sometimes I think we ladies can come off as superficial because we’re on a luxury forum discussing our luxury purchases, but truly family is way more important than “things” I adore my family!!!

My DH is hilarious!!! He also has a great fashion sense but we’re into totally different things!!!

That’s adorable!!!
I don’t wear fur in rainy weather either, but I thought I read somewhere that hardy furs like mink and fox are water resistant and all you have to do is shake them out. Is that true?

Your probably right about the jealousy part, I have gotten dirty looks on the same day woman have complimented my outfit.

You sound like a great mama
I'm very open with my children, down to earth, and so far so good :lol:

I'm on here because nobody appreciates my outfits lol, well hubby does, my daughter has her own young style, the rest of my family is scattered across the US so where else to share
And I love seeing everyones styles and furs!

That’s adorable!!!

Thank you, I wasn't sure how people would take it. It's very babyish but I love young things sometimes
Yes its true, some furs fair better in rain than others. Mink and everything in that family...fisher, fitch, sable but I wouldn't dare wear a sable in the rain. Muskrat, beaver, opossum, basically anything with an oily coat.
Fox sadly I would say no, not to my knowledge anyway, it's not an animal known to have a water resistant coat, but thick enough were a mild drizzle wont penetrate to the skin.

And yes a good shaking is all they need, and air dry.

 maybe lovingly stroke them indoors

Will do :)
