From the sellers description it is 33" long. For reference I am 5'5 and in 4" high heeled boots.

I lean away from full length since they have limited use. Only for those frigid cold days as you will not feel a thing, and to me they are hard to move around in. I walk fast and the heavy length slows me down. I don't like the way it feels rubbing against my legs and it is difficult getting in and out of cars.
Hip - knee length is the best active length.

Regardless, show me a gorgeous full length fox and I'm down!!

I agree with you about the shorter lengths be the best active length. At first I wouldn't even think about getting a longer length, no matter how beautiful they are. We get so few really cold days to wear a long fur that I really get more wear from the shorter lengths. I did change my mind about the long mink, though, & while I had only planned to get 1, I wound up with 2. Since my lifestyle is so casual these days, I will get more wear & use out of the shorter stroller styles. However, I still love the look of the longer lengths in all types of furs, especially the thicker long hair furs. Since our fur season is short, I limit myself on how many I'll own.

You may want to look into designer full length furs or department store furs. They are much lighter in weight and feel compared to vintage, or even new ones from a furrier. The lighter weight makes them not as warm as the heavier coats (it's still a fur so still very warm, just turned down a notch)
The cost can be ridiculous though, but if you catch them on sale you can find some good deals.

 Oh, that's beautiful, KK!!! It will be so cute with jeans/legging & boots with a nice top but still will look dressy for the casino!!

You better hunker down, KK, with that Nor'easter that's headed your way. Good thing you have plenty of furs to keep you warm cause it looks like it's going to be a lots of snow & cold!!! I cannot fathom that much snow & cold!! I have thin Southern blood & would have to go into hibernation & not come out til Spring!

Thank you :) and it's very light and airy so I shouldn't be uncomfortable in it. I've been looking at cropped furs, something that can bring me all the way til' late April. I'm trying to wear fur as long as I can lol

We're on the rain/snow line, so it can go either way. As of now they're only calling for an inch of snow after several inches of rain, so I'm bummed about that. Hopefully it shifts to more snow!

Hehe with your furs you would be toasty warm. And to think I want to move more North lol
With the messy weather tomorrow I won't be able to wear real fur :( I have to wear a faux, oh wait til you see this one...lets just say remember Punky Brewster? :giggle:

Is it the patchwork looking ones like tails or clumps of fur that are all different colors? I couldn’t pull that off but I absolutely LOVE them!!!

I agree with you about the cold. I’m from the west coast so sometimes even southern cold is too cold for me. I think I’d die on the east coast!!!

That is beautiful!!! I’m thinking black blouse with fancy sleeves, a mini skirt, and thigh high boots at the casino... sexy!!!

Ooo I have something like that! the top is white though but it has big fancy sleeves with black trousers as a set. I got it from Alice & Olivia two years ago, never wore it, still has the tags. It's part of my "Neglection Collection" LOL!!!

I haven’t had an opportunity to post much recently but I’m loving all the great pics. Here is a pic (cross-posted from the BV forum) of my multicoloured Fox infinity cowl scarf thingy. It has a knitted sweater-like backing and is relatively stretchy. I wore it with my coat when I went away last weekend but I sometimes wear it with a turtleneck sweater dress and pull it down over the shoulders almost like a shrug. I got A LOT of compliments on that scarf - even in hippie Seattle
The pic is a bit blurry, I’ll try to take a better picture of the bright colours later.

Thank you

I've been in that same boat for the past 20 years
I stopped fighting it, I mean think of it this way, if it's not interfering with our lives in a negative way then there is no harm done and let's enjoy ourselves. I am a bad influence!! But I've learned to stop feeling guilty! You only live once, and we're all only young once. I wish I started on furs at your age, I started late in the game so I will have less years to enjoy them.
When it comes to furs it's like potato chips, you can't stop at one. There are so many types of furs that make it harder to resist. So many fox varieties, mink colors, then you have the exoctic's like Lippi cat, Lynx, Fisher, Beaver....
Your in a warmer climate so it might be wise to stock up on shorter length's and lighter furs :drinks:

I love Etsy and I've had better luck with them than ebay. The sellers are more....eh how do I say...normal? LOL

You’re my fur idol!!!
I think I will always splurge, I just want to do it within reason. Afterall, I love spending money, it’s my favorite hobbie! :D
Sometimes I do feel quite guilty because my mom says I’m going to run my hubby off (due to my spending habits), I’m like we’ve been in this 15+ years we aren’t going anywhere ;)
I’m trying to wait till summer to see what the fur prices look like. I put in an offer for another fox fur, I’ll post pics if that accept it!

I'm sure you know your spending limits and won't dig hubby in a hole
I always ask hubby "are we ok? are we going to be poor?", this way I know if I need to cut down or stop. He tells me when things are slow and to lay low for a bit.
Summer prices are great! I see already things starting to come down. Ebay most sellers always over ask, they think they have the last pieces on earth then wonder why their stuff doesn't sell.
Etsy and TRR furs move quickly.
