So while in NM yesterday I saw an adorable white mink ruffled capelet with crystals going around the middle, hubby liked it and said "yeah that would be good for AC". I was giggling with joy.
The SA took it off the mannequin and it was tiny  size xs and it was the last one, I was so bummed, I went home empty handed.
So last night I went online to look for something similar, I didn't find anything I liked accept for a spotted fox shrug on TRR. It cost just a little less than the mink...hubby said no...I'm like wtf you just were going to buy me that mink lol...well a lil struggle and I got it...ha ha :P
Lanvin spotted fox shrug, it says Pristine cond new w/tags. Size small, it better fit :annoyed:
It should be here in a few days

It's a lil dressy, perfect for the casino, but I may be able to wing it casually too...maybe
Oooooohhhhhhhhh! Love, love, love the fox shrug!

I would love to have just 1 week of cold weather, with snow or without. At least then, I would get a chance to wear my furs before they go into storage. That would be wonderful but I think it's just wishful thinking. Like I said, Spring has already arrived here. My dogwoods & azaleas have already got buds on them. There's always next year, though. By then, I'll probably picked up another coat/jacket or two.:graucho:

I don' mind mowing the lawn; it's the weed eating that I can't do...bothers my back too much.

You are pretty south, chances may be slim. Do they have any mountains in GA that have ski resorts? lol
We've gotten some pretty bad snowstorms first week of April through the years, with up to two feet of snow, so I'm not fully out of the woods yet.
Weatherman is now saying a mix of snow and rain for Friday, doesn't help me as I can't wear fur in that mess.

Yes, I'm in the Deep South. We have some mountains in North Ga close to the state line. As for ski resorts, most people go to Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, & Virginia. I have told my husband that I want to spend about a week in the Rockies at a resort area. I don't ski or snowboard but I will ride a snow tube or a snow mobile. Maybe we should visit a resort in New Hampshire or Vermont. It's something we have on our bucket list. I also want to go somewhere that gets real snow during the Christmas season for about a week. I've never had a white Christmas so I would love to go somewhere that's all decorated for Christmas with snow on the ground. Some friends of ours said we need to go to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. They have plenty of snow, everything decorated for Christmas, & everything is so pretty. You can even go on a horse drawn sleigh ride. I would definitely get to wear my furs then!!:graucho:

That sounds like a good plan! and you can wear all your furs
I'm about an hour from the Pokono Mountains. PA we get a lot of snow, usually, this year has been a bust though. Wyoming sounds beautiful :girlsigh:

They are easy to find, the lighter beige ones are really pretty too. Yeah at 32 weeks I would have passed too, I know fashion was the last thing on my mind
Before I dyed my hair I was able to wash and go, but the dye does make it a bit fuzzy so I do have to go over it quickly with a straightener.
My daughter was born with beautiful curls (her dad is West Indian), I was so happy for her and it was so cute to style. Then when she turned 5 it started to go wavy....then as the years went by it turned totally straight! Now she's 21 and we both talk about her curls and how we miss them :crybaby:

You can find a nice one for that price, mine was 850. TRR had a stroller length, I was torn to get it, I waited a bit and it sold. Last night I managed to talk hubby into a shrug/short jacket. I will post a pic shortly.
I guess with the warm weather coming I'm trying to make fur work....short sleeved furs, crops, capelets etc

I would try it out on one to see how you like it, I am so happy I did, they come out really nice and look almost new....oooo and so clean

Thank you
I have a few more...ok more than a few "cough cough" that id like to bring in.
I predominantly wear my hair in a wash and go it I use a bit of gel to combat frizz. I love curls on kids!!! I’m hoping my baby girl gets my curls! My hair was as straight as my half white mother until I was about 8 then it just decided to transform into my father’s side! I can’t conplain, it’s the best of both words because I can always flat iron when I want something else.

I am stalking more furs but I’m trying to be thoughtful as I don’t just want to buy random stuff just because I like the prices. I almost bought a short spotted when I’ve already discovered I prefer long coats. I learned with LV that I have an addictive personality and I will buy just to collect and never use it. I’m trying to stop that.

This would be adorable with a cream blouse dark jeans and a nice pair of heels!!! You also could dress it up with evening wear!

It's something the way child hair changes. Mine was always straight from day one lol
Your hair looked really good straightened, lucky you can wear it both ways. I had a perm in the 80's when I was a teen...let's just say it was not a good look lol
That's good your holding back, I tend to go all out lol. I collect...everything! Once I get fixed on something I have to have the whole kit and kaboodle in every color, but I do use everything I buy, well except a few things that never fit.
I am leaning towards the short fur stuff now so I can wear those right up to late spring. Long coats are very very warm.

Yep that sounds really cute! It just arrived :)
It's adorable....a lil tight though. It's a size 4, which I am in non designer clothes, but designer stuff runs so small, this fits more like a 2. I will have to retry it on tomorrow to see how it moves. I will get pics

I had to stop myself!!! I will buy and hoard things for years then finally give them away or sell them at huge losses. My baby had like 10 bikinis before she was even born. I find I even hoard baby clothes!!! I also did that with LV because for each purse I bought I needed the matching wallet, makeup bag, cles, and catchall. This was fine when I was only into monogram canvas, but then I got obsessed with Damier, then black Epi, red Epi, green Epi, Black Empreinte.

In my 20’s I collected just to say I had it, but once I hit 30 I decided that I wouldn’t give in to excess. With purses if I don’t carry it in 6 months it’s out the door. With clothing I only spend a lot on classic staples like jeans, blazers, shoes etc. Then with my trendy items I generally donate them after the season if I don’t consider them staples.

I recently even noticed that furs can become addictive. First, I said one mink. Then I said just one fox, now one mink and two foxes later I’m currently stalking because I want more and more. I’m so bad that now my hubby says I don’t want to look at any more furs, if you want it just buy it. I know that I feel I need at least one lighter mink, and at least one white fox. I think I want many more but I don’t think it’s a good idea given innthe south it’s not even that cold usually.

Luv this! Especially like how you paired it with casual outfit.

Thank you

I've been in that same boat for the past 20 years
I stopped fighting it, I mean think of it this way, if it's not interfering with our lives in a negative way then there is no harm done and let's enjoy ourselves. I am a bad influence!! But I've learned to stop feeling guilty! You only live once, and we're all only young once. I wish I started on furs at your age, I started late in the game so I will have less years to enjoy them.
When it comes to furs it's like potato chips, you can't stop at one. There are so many types of furs that make it harder to resist. So many fox varieties, mink colors, then you have the exoctic's like Lippi cat, Lynx, Fisher, Beaver....
Your in a warmer climate so it might be wise to stock up on shorter length's and lighter furs :drinks:

The length of this coat is very nice for casual wear!!! You seem to have great luck finding good stuff on Etsy!

I love Etsy and I've had better luck with them than ebay. The sellers are more....eh how do I say...normal? LOL

This is the perfect length for my lifestyle & the length I'm looking for in a fox coat!

It seems no one likes the longer fox coats. I didn’t like the hip length one on me that my mom now has. I agree that this length is super cute! This is probably the shortest I’d go in a fox.

From the sellers description it is 33" long. For reference I am 5'5 and in 4" high heeled boots.

I lean away from full length since they have limited use. Only for those frigid cold days as you will not feel a thing, and to me they are hard to move around in. I walk fast and the heavy length slows me down. I don't like the way it feels rubbing against my legs and it is difficult getting in and out of cars.
Hip - knee length is the best active length.

Regardless, show me a gorgeous full length fox and I'm down!!
