Picked up my spotted fox coat today from Neiman's cleaning, they did a spectacular job. For 85 dollars they do impressive work. The fur feels much more light and fluffy and the white areas are much brighter :)
I wish the turn around time was quicker though, it takes about 12-14 days to get the coat back, that's my only complaint. They send you home with a nice big fur garment bag and hanger so that's a plus

It's true, they don't listen. Asking for a bob and getting long layers is not even close! I must say it did look really good, but you should get what you ask for.
I love the vest! Rabbit can easily look and feel like chinchilla.

Wow those curls are great! Perfect ringlets! I wish I had hair like that, mine is flat, thin and straight. I curl it for some volume, hardly a curl, more like a ripple lol
You can see why I need extensions, but in the winter they get stuck in my coat so I don't wear them too often this time of year.
Hindsight is 20/20, I wish I had bought the vest but I think I was like 32weeks at the time and I didn’t feel like anything looked good on me.

I did like the way my hair looked, but the chemicals ruined my curls so it only looked good straight. That just didn’t work for my life as I wear my hair curly like 95% of the time.

Funny we always want what we don’t have, though I love my curls, sometimes I wish my hair were naturally straight like yours. I would love to be able to just run a comb through it with no qualms!

This is heavenly!!! <3<3<3 where’s the drool emoji?
I’m hoping I come across a really good white fox during the warmer months, but the max I want to pay is about $1200.

I’m highly considering taking my furs in for a good cleaning and reglazing based on your pics.

They did a fabulous job! Your coat looks wonderful!

They are easy to find, the lighter beige ones are really pretty too. Yeah at 32 weeks I would have passed too, I know fashion was the last thing on my mind
Before I dyed my hair I was able to wash and go, but the dye does make it a bit fuzzy so I do have to go over it quickly with a straightener.
My daughter was born with beautiful curls (her dad is West Indian), I was so happy for her and it was so cute to style. Then when she turned 5 it started to go wavy....then as the years went by it turned totally straight! Now she's 21 and we both talk about her curls and how we miss them :crybaby:

This is heavenly!!!:heart::heart: where’s the drool emoji?

You can find a nice one for that price, mine was 850. TRR had a stroller length, I was torn to get it, I waited a bit and it sold. Last night I managed to talk hubby into a shrug/short jacket. I will post a pic shortly.
I guess with the warm weather coming I'm trying to make fur work....short sleeved furs, crops, capelets etc

I would try it out on one to see how you like it, I am so happy I did, they come out really nice and look almost new....oooo and so clean

Thank you :)
I have a few more...ok more than a few "cough cough" that id like to bring in.

So while in NM yesterday I saw an adorable white mink ruffled capelet with crystals going around the middle, hubby liked it and said "yeah that would be good for AC". I was giggling with joy.
The SA took it off the mannequin and it was tiny :( size xs and it was the last one, I was so bummed, I went home empty handed.
So last night I went online to look for something similar, I didn't find anything I liked accept for a spotted fox shrug on TRR. It cost just a little less than the mink...hubby said no...I'm like wtf you just were going to buy me that mink lol...well a lil struggle and I got it...ha ha :P
Lanvin spotted fox shrug, it says Pristine cond new w/tags. Size small, it better fit :annoyed:
It should be here in a few days

It's a lil dressy, perfect for the casino, but I may be able to wing it casually too...maybe

That's very nice!!! Yes, it's a little dressy but I can see this with jeans, boots, & a cute top for a more casual look! I think this will fit into your style quite nicely!!

I finally got to wear a little fur this morning. It was in the low 40's this morning when I headed out to the tag office with DH to get the title transferred & new tag for his Challenger SRT. Not cold enough for one of the minks but cold enough to wear my leather coat w/ fox collar. Temps have risen to close to 60 now so I won't be wearing it any more today.

I'm glad you got to wear something :)
40's I would have done mink, that's minkable weather
Tomorrow we have 55 as a high, I'm wearing fox with a tee shirt underneath. I think the coat is hip length so it should be doable.

Have you looked into mink t-shirts? :giggle:

I probably would have worn mink if one of them was a stroller length. I was extremely casual in jeans & Sketcher walkers. The sun is out today but rain is predicted for Wed & Thurs. It might be cold enough for something this weekend; just have to wait & see. Spring is definitely here in the south. Flowers are coming up & blooming, Bradford Pear, Redbud, & Cherry trees are in bloom. Pollen has arrived & my grass needs to be cut.

I have not looked into mink t-shirts. Not sure how much I would wear something like that. I'll have to Google them. LOL Right now it's good weather for light cashmere tunic sweaters.

Yeah full length's are way too warm, especially around the legs. I'm sure my full length days are over here too :( I still might try though. I just got a beautiful full length faux fur that from a distance looks like sable. It would have to be in the 30's max for me to be able to wear it though.
Your weather does sound beautiful, but I'm not ready yet nooooo!! So many coats I haven't even gotten to wear yet :crybaby:

Pollen oh no lol, I'm still looking out for the tulips, when they pop I know it's over
Are you getting those heavy rains too? We're supposed to get it Thurs and Fri.

I think I will keep an eye out for a good deal on a shorter mink jacket just for casual wear. I thought the 2 long one would be enough but I'm having second thoughts now.

Yes, we're getting the rain! It rained Sunday & Monday, sunshine today, but rain again on Wednesday & Thursday. My grass really does need mowing but it won't stop raining long enough for the grass to dry enough to be able to mow it!!! Typical of Ga weather. Our pollen can be particularly troublesome for allergy sufferers. It doesn't really bother me but it will sure jack up DH's sinuses!

It's always good to have varying length's. I save the long ones for brutal days.
I'm laughing thinking that you have to mow the grass lol. That is so soon! But you are in GA so I can imagine it gets very warm down there quickly.
The furthest south I've ever been was North Carolina, and you can tell the climate was different, it had this tropical feel to it, very moist, I liked it.
Yep we had all that rain too,I think it rained for 4 days straight, today is sunny.
I'm still praying for snow, they have snow for Thursday night, but then it will just get washed away Friday with the rain. I just bought a sled for myself, a Flexible Flyer, remember the good ole' days? Wishful thinking I'm sure, but ya never know...maybe a snow storm will hit one last time! :)

I would love to have just 1 week of cold weather, with snow or without. At least then, I would get a chance to wear my furs before they go into storage. That would be wonderful but I think it's just wishful thinking. Like I said, Spring has already arrived here. My dogwoods & azaleas have already got buds on them. There's always next year, though. By then, I'll probably picked up another coat/jacket or two.:graucho:

I don' mind mowing the lawn; it's the weed eating that I can't do...bothers my back too much.
