So, the Maxi that is the Orange-est... is that the lamb? Is it as orange looking as it looks? I am really liking it - if it is real orange. Not to happy about the unstructured nature of it, but that orange is great for summer.

I am getting past the fact the reds are not - the reds I would have liked.

Heehee... That's a great idea about all tPFers getting the dog tag necklace.

I actually saw the red lamb in Paris last month and thought it looked very orange too. But it's not real orange. It's very orangish coral kind of color. I thought the color was cute but yikes! The leather, I didn't like too much.:Push:

BTW whats wrong with the Encore exactly? We are going to visit friends in USA in the next couple of months & they were telling us that they're going to take u to Vegas & stay at the Encore?

Oh, there wasn't anything "wrong" with Encore. It's just that I've been spoiled by Wynn too much and perhaps got so used to the same level of luxury. Lol. And I got upgraded to their coolest suites couple times, which really raised the bar high.

I have to say that I didn't appreciate the layout too much though. I see how Mr Wynn wanted to create the look of "suites" with separate living room alcove in standard roon of Encore and all... And I thought the sectional they had was nice and comfy. But because they split the room into half with living room and bed room parts, I actually felt like I was in a smaller room than many times I stayed at Wynn.

And while two hotels are connected by a short walkway, it gets tiring to walk through it after couple times. Of course you can just stay at Encore and not go over to Wynn, but as there really wasn't much action in casino of Encore, you feel the need to walk over to Wynn everyday. I thought the restaurants at Encore were fantastic but still, they only have few to choose from when Wynn has about double the number.

Lastly, please keep in mind that this girl lost lots of money at Encore, so I might be holding a grudge.:P I think you should give Encore a try. I'll probably give Encore another try myself, perhaps in summer if they do a promo for suites as they do for Wynn every year.

I know I know .....but they are so cute, especially the sewing machine!! Oh well, I think the necklace price will be over my budget. I would keep :drool: at the photos though.

did they restyle the portobello or add a new style? because on the original version the handles of the small can't be folded down (which some tPFers didn't like) but they were very short so they don't flop over like this. and the medium and large sizes (which offer the zip top interior bag like this one) have hinged handles which can be folded down. i don't like how the longer handles are so droopy. did you get a price?

Wow J! Another great trip and loot! I LOVE your new jewelries! I'm going to have to find those dogtag necklaces too now. And the Couture jewelries collection is going to get me into major trouble.

Yeah, so the blue is going to be the same as the lamb flap I've seen in other threads... it's really pretty, but not exactly that drop dead electric Yves Klein/puzzle flap/mysterious "where the hell did it come from?!" blue flap in the reference library... ahh well. I will only get it if I can track down (well, if J can haha) a medium, since I have a couple of blue Jumbos and one e/w. :smile: Ugh, and if it's a floppy a$$ caviar, I'll be pissed... I like my flaps nice and structured!

I can't wait to see which WOC you get (I'm thinking purple)! ;) I've never tried one on, so I don't even know if I can even pull it off style wise. Both colors are stunning though (I'm always drawn to color... it would be amazing if there were 226 reissues available in these colors!!), but since I have two purples, *if* I were to get one, I'd consider the turquoise over the purple. Hmm, maybe I'd have to see it in person then... I'll see if J can send me pics. :smile:

The blue I saw yesterday is supposedly not the blue you are waiting for. B said there would be another blue and it would be lighter. So you still have to wait and see how that one would be. I just didn't think you'd appreciate the caviar they used for spring bags, as it's super soft compared to our Miss Reds.

Urgh. I wish they ordered meds but it turns out that nobody did, when they are getting meds for fuchsia. I think you'll think the patent turquoise WOC is cute, Minal. But just to be safe, try to see it in person because it's very shocking color. Lol. You know how everyone feels differently about colors and you might think that's way too eye popping color to handle. I thought the purple was really nice as well.

ALSO, there is yet ANOTHER version with a bigger pendant!! I saw the long version with a bigger cross pendant!!! I tried it on and sadly being a midget, I just killed the glam of it and had to put it down.

I think I am beyond redemption now when it comes to costume jewellery because I just saved all the pages of the Act I training lookbook and I have been like this :drool: all afternoon...!!!!!!!!!

Should I get the bracelet as well?

^^^ There is a third version of the dog tag necklace Miffy? Eek! Now I'm going to have a heck of a time deciding which one to get. LOL! I can't believe I'm more excited about this necklace than I am about the bags! :nuts:

^ Steph, I just came back from boutique and Brendan said they aren't getting the third kind. Wahhhhhh~ I think he said it's just two pendants I got.

But perhaps department stores are getting the ones M mentioned?:idea: If not, I'd have to call around all Chanels in the world and stalk CC Army collection.:rolleyes:

I said it's red caviar but it isn't. I went to see my SA today and found out that what I actually saw at the trunk show was FUCHSIA!:Push:

Yes, I knew it wasn't supposed to be "hot pink" like the color of the font I used above for word fuchsia. I also saw the pic Mon posted some time ago. Yet, I was expecting to see at least itsy bitsy tint of pink, hence the reason for me to regard that maxi on top shelf to be red caviar. So sorry for calling it red!

BTW, I got myself not one or two but THREE something somethings today. I know I said I'll do a "reveal" today but lol, I went to uptown much later than planned. (Again!:rolleyes:) And now it's too late to take good pics of my three lovelies.:sweatdrop: Please stay tuned for updates on this thread. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to post tomorrow.

OOH I love the patent WOCS! Thanks for sharing, plus the travelogue on the Wynn vs Encore. I love Vegas, so I'm very envious of your trip!!! ... looking forward to tomorrow's pics!

I love your CHANEL items and those Lanvins are adorable. Also, thanks for posting the eye candy. I am liking those studded bags (I think they are studded) next to the Cerf.

Thanks for the info Justine! I guess I'm going to have to stalk the department stores now for this mysterious third incarnation of the dog tag necklace!
