I have looked her up on toolhaus and she has a huge history of negs and misrepresenting items. In her follow-up replies to the negs she always states to call the 800# so why not call and speak to her directly?

Even when I see something nice on the site for sale, the negatives always make me click elsewhere. She clearly cannot run an organized business.

Sorry you are having this happen, EM, but I feel sure it will be resolved. The things I have bought from her (only clothes, not bags) have all been good. Though she did offer to let me return the one thing I was questioning (I decided to keep it). Patience, especially this time of year when people are still in holi-daze mode.:winkiss: It is quite a HUGE operation (like maybe out of her control it's so big!!???) now, so they may be overwhelmed and understaffed.

I've won numerous of her auctions. My last one was a white Miu Miu bag that was missing a few zipper pulls (not shown in photos or disclosed in the description). I called them and returned the bag via FedEx. I believe I got the refund in about a week- this was in July, I think.

She's always been one of my favorite sellers because of her personal story (attorney mom who has a successful at home business) and her return policy. I'm surprised by the lack of response by them.

I hope this resolves soon and favorably for you. If you returned within the 7 days, she should refund your fees soon.

ACK... they have SO MANY RETURNS coming back that it takes 2 weeks + to even process the return???????? That is freaking ridiculous. Never mind that they cannot take 5 mins to inspect the items they list and better describe the condition.
I've emailed/messaged 3 times that I can recall in past 10 days. I obviously am less patient than you, as I filed my dispute today.. 11 days after return showed received.
Obviously, the priority of this seller is strictly volume.

It's annoying! Someone was there to sign for the package, and obviously she has a few people working for her, so is it that difficult to send out a quick e-mail" "We got your package, and are processing your return."? When you're sending them valuable merchandise, piece of mind that they received it is a BIG deal. You were right to file a dispute. You'll get your money back, but it still doesn't provide an excuse for horrible communication and customer service!

Oh.. I'm sorry. That's sucks.
They list hundreds of stuffs every single day almost systematically, so I think people who deal with complains are different from people who are in charge of listing items.
Hope it's just a holiday thing and you get a refund soon.

wow...what a shame. It doesn't so much bother me that it takes them so long to refund you as it does that they can't write back to your freakin e-mails! That's just RUDE.

If their business is so huge then they clearly need more people working!

Sorry, Ellie!! you're the expert of the bunch, all we can do is provide you with moral support, and allow you to vent your anger to us. :winkiss:

Exactly! ONE 60-second response???

I may have to call, but emails are so much more time-efficient for me. And if she has time to answer all those phone calls, why can she not answer an email?

I think so. And how easy do you think it wold be to consign or return a fake to an organization this overwhelmed?

I am glad you had good luck.. many others have also.

I agree....An email response was ALL I was asking. Should not be all that difficult.

I had purchased quite a few items from her, and thankfully not had any problems. I remember a long time ago buying some Terzani lighting from her, and when I was emailing her with specific questions on the items, she said it was at her consignor's home, that she couldn't measure for me, and that the description was written by that person as well. Item was also packaged and shipped from consignor....she must be very trusting. I know I wouldn't be a an ebay seller.

EllieMae, CALL right away! The number is on page 1 of this thread and also on their listings. They do answer the phone and I think you may get this resolved with just a phone call. While you may not think it is time efficient, believe me it's a lot faster than emailing back and forth.

I bought from them about 2 years ago and my Hermes scarves arrived wrinkled and used. Not what their auction described so despite some of the nifty stuff they offer I stay away even though I might take a chance on a grail.

I have found them to be very helpful when you call and I think you would save yourself a lot of annoyance by just making that call. As you know by now, I really believe in picking up the phone!!! By the way, I have found they are really slow to respond to emails so I don't think they are just ignoring yours.

So, make that call and get this straightened out on the spot!!!

Sorry to hear this.

I emailed them questions about an LV listing before, and they refused to send addtl pics, not to mention that I had to email two or three times before they answered. Also, FYI...they have listed at least 2 LV fakes that I can remember.

Hope it all works out! I'm sure you'll be refunded......someday. >:(

UPDATE: no need to call. Seems filing a dispute does get some attention. Money refunded... and now there is a request for a cancellation, and an email message from FRED. Now we know 1 way to get their attention.
