Oh, please share more photos regarding the trainers. Are they comfy? How is the fit, small or normal size? TIA!
Will definitely take more pics once I've actually broken them out (was waiting to spray them down with a shoe protectant since they're a lighter colour)! But as for comfort and fit on me they're true to size but lean toward a slightly more snug fit and are really comfortable. I could see them being uncomfortable on someone with a wider foot (my friend tried on a different pair of trainers and she said that she wouldn't be able to wear them for a long time).
I will say that as much as I love them, I don't feel like they're amazing quality compared to other designer trainers and are definitely going to be an occasional wear for me opposed to my Prada or Balenciaga trainers which feel more hard wearing (and tbh I'm known to beat my shoes to a pulp and am not precious with them). BUT then again with all that said when I got my first pair of Gucci Ace's I thought they felt a little cheapy but had a much longer life than I anticipated so maybe I'm not the best judge of character in this area haha. (noting that I took my normal size in the Chanel's as I did with the Gucci's and Balenciaga's but Prada's I sized down as they run a little large on me if this also helps!)

So chic! I just picked up a pair as well but haven’t worn them yet. Thinking about going to size down. I got my regular 36.5 and although I don’t slip out but have too much room in the front.
I bought 6.5 and go between a 6.5 and 7 in Chanel. I can’t wear their ballet flats because of the sizing. 6.5 tight, 7 my foot comes out. Love these!

I bought this today as a celebration of finishing a course I have studied for years!! I have thought about VCA, Cartier and Chaumet as I felt they are more “proper” jewellery brands, but I really can’t help from falling in love with this bracelet :loveeyes::loveeyes: (posting in the Chanel forum to get more support for my decision :lol::lol:)

This is definitely a deliberate misrepresentation and the seller should accept a return. I agree that unused vintage bags do exists, I have found them myself. I am also very guilty of having bags I have owned for more than 10 years in special conditions that I have never used. You should also consider naming the seller in the resellers forum.
I well intend to, once I complete the dispute with my credit card company and feel safe—I don’t wish this reseller to perpetuate this manner of fraud on anyone else. They should be named, shamed, and warned about. Their attitude when I first contacted them to note the condition of the item received being different to advertisements and claims was… not civil. That’s an understatement. Reseller, I have no intention of going after your husband (?? Non sequitur?! I wasn’t aware of their family, nor is it relevant, and I certainly wouldn’t involve them, ever. This isn’t personal. It is business) in a dispute regarding a transaction—a deliberately fraudulent and misrepresented bait & switch / con (though on advice I initially avoided inflammatory language, and remain cautious in my phrasing, I am privately in rage mode now—I do not want them to get away with this on anyone else. It’s the principle of the matter above all.)

And thank you, everyone, for being understanding, sympathetic, and kind— plus tolerating this downer of a series of posts, in a thread that’s usually reserved for sharing and spreading joy amongst a community which appreciates beautiful artefacts and craftsmanship.

But yes. I don’t wish this to happen to anyone else, ever. Once this case is safely closed, done and dusted, I’ll post the seller to protect anyone else from falling for the honeyed words and filtered photos/videos—I can’t be the first mark, although I was an unusually inquisitive one.

I’m going to cheer myself up by looking at & hearting your lot’s gorgeous acquisitions now. I really enjoy the posts which include a story behind them; they feel like a bonus treat. :) like many of you, I love the IRL shopping / boutique experiences, viewing items (clothes, jewelry, furnishings, handbags, you name it) in person; there’s really nothing like it, is there? Finding something special which you’ll treasure for the memories, the company, to commemorate a life event and so forth… no matter how exxy or comparatively small, you’ll always have fond remembrances when donning or using your beloved item, & feeling like a catwalk superstar. (I thought this would be one such purchase, since I had an accident which made it awkward to hobble about shopping IRL until recently…lesson learnt :/)

A pair of REV trainers and a little 24C zippy coin purse (and a handwritten birthday card!) from the Chicago boutique from a birthday trip I did~

Additional funny little story: I was walking around Rush St where all the designer boutiques are and I had a full on Carrie Bradshaw moment and fell flat on my face in Dior as I was walking through their doors and everyone on the first floor saw me haha. I shot up and out of being embarrassed said a little too loudly "I'm here to look at wallets!" Everyone was so lovely though there and they just sat me down and gave me a coffee and brought me everything I wanted to see haha
All’s well that ends well! And you got a nifty pair of trainers and a darling teal wallet out of your trip! (I love a colorful SLG; makes it easy to spot in one’s purse and sparks happiness when one opens it to fork out card or cash!) Love that the associates of Dior treated you as they should, NBD—your ostensible gaffe sounds perfectly charming and endearing! I giggled at your description of it as a ‘Carrie Bradshaw moment’.

Congratuwelldone! 🩷 You deserve a commemoration for your work, effort, cleverness, (& possibly sweat and tears) placed into your achievement. It’s a gorgeous coco crush model; I love the sprinkling of diamonds and the color! In times of doubt (which I hope are rare), you’ll always remember your achievement when you glance at that bracelet as proof of & pride in what you managed to accomplished! Yay, you!

(I have a dear, brilliant friend who got a Maria Tash piercing after finishing her anaesthesiology qualifications. It sparked something of an addiction—& she looks absolutely rad with her ear jewelry. Unconventional? Maybe. But I’d put my life in her skilled and fashionable hands any day! I hope you have many more occasions to add to your stack—or jewelry or reminders of choice—in future. 🎉)

And some action shots…

Plus some gratuitous pictures of Paris because they’re pretty
Ohh, luscious! That blue is radiant! And what a fantastic story filled with delightful memories (I especially like that you took her for a twirl to see the sights, architecture, IM Pei and the Louvre)—and a Valentine’s pressie to boot! The shade’s versatile and an eye-catcher for sure.

New to me square WOC in the 19s iridescent pink! I understand now how pictures don't do it justice. I'm in love ❤️
