I wasn't supposed to but anything lol but i came across this in very good preowned condition.

Reissue Strap bag in brown caviar.

Strange looking bag at first but it grew on me, looks quite practical and hard-wearing.

A fab everyday bag and i really adore the Mademoiselle Lock.

The reissue is the one thing missing from my collection that I've been pining for. Missed the so black mini reissue from a few seasons ago, and the wait-list for the regular black mini reissue has been impossible to come for my country (I even got offered the mini top handle in black, SA says the 2.55 is super hard to get).

Was travelling and asked about the 2.55 mini, SA said none available but then I saw this in the cupboard with my eagle eye.. (why did she say not available?! Did she not want to sell to tourists perhaps or assumed I wanted black? So weird)

Never thought I'd end up with a purple bag - I was looking for a neutral colour - but once I saw it and tried it on I was sold..

From far, the shimmer isn't too obvious and surprisingly looks neutral! Am finally the owner of a mini reissue

Can I ask how you’re enjoying the bag? Just saw this in person and the color is stunning but worried about its versatility. Also how hard wearing is the glitter/iridescent sheen? Thanks!

Hi! The glitter is pretty muted, barely visible from a mid distance - even when I hold it in front of my full length mirror if I didn't know better I might not notice it!

It's more of how often/easy do you find yourself being able to use a purple bag. For me standard rules for a light coloured bag apply (don't wear with black etc) although I do think it is more forgiving for any type of color transfer than lambskin (I have not worked up the courage to try with black yet though haha). I find it harder to match as a result, also because I don't wear many light colours.

I am loooooving the reissue style. I love that it can be a shoulder bag, and is a IYKYK type of bag.

My advise would be think of it as a purple bag matched with your wardrobe when assessing the versatility
